Trent's glare was enough to cause Damon to recoil and he instantly mumbled, "I'm sorry, boss," but that did not stop him from complaining in his mind about his boss's foolishness.

'You only have the balls to threaten me but look at what a mere woman did to you and you couldn't lift a finger,' he smirked.

How could he allow such a weak woman to have such an influence on him? Didn't he know it was dangerous to allow himself fall to this state? 

His once powerful boss that was a terror to all was reduced to a mere punching bag. Tsk! He made up his mind never to fall in love if it means he'll have to take nonsense from any woman.

"If you still know what's good for you, I give you till the end of today to dig out everything you know about Grace's past. I want it reported to me first thing tomorrow morning," Trent ordered.

"Are you still going to argue with me?"
