"Are you alright," Jace asked with concern.

He had stopped to check on Grace but didn't expect the little woman to bump her nose into his back before he got to turn around.

Was she not paying attention to where she was going?

Or was she still dazed by what happened earlier? At the thought, a smirk danced around his lips. 

'She wasn't immune to his charms after all.'

He turned away, a sly smile dancing around his lips which disappeared as he stepped into the living room. 

With his arrival there was a sharp change in the atmosphere. Everyone's attention was placed on the handsome specie that just strolled into the room.

Rose moved over proudly, took his arms and led him to the center of the room where he was expected to give a speech.
