"You know what? I doubt you will make it to two months before Caesar tears your head off. You are obviously and seriously getting on his nerves. Tsk, flirting with someone's mate." Nikolai scoffed like it was the most disgusting thing and turned around to begin walking away. 

Roman frowned in displeasure and grabbed him by the hand, pulling him back. "I wasn't flirting with her! I meant what I said to her! Are you blind?"  

"Certainly not! You flirt with anything." Nikolai snatched his hand back and began to walk away.  

"And that's the thank you I get? For saving you?" Roman asked, obviously pissed off. 

Nikolai came to a halt on his steps and turned around to look at him. "Thank you? Seriously? For saving me?" He burst into laughter as if that were the most ridiculous thing he'd ever heard.
