"So, let me get this straight"
Jindo said while pacing across the room fast, from left to right and back and forth. He seemed to be on the edge in a way I haven't really seen him in this state before.
"I'm not even mad at Sin this time, Hina, YOU decided to join Jiko's party full of thugs?!"
"Sorry, Bro. And yes. It was me. Sin knew nothing about it. So please don't scold her"
Hina looked a little remorseful today, which was pretty unusual for her too. Then I remembered how she was holding my hand with a worried look on her face at the back of the ambulance on the way here.
"I will get back to you on this one, Hina. But now, Ema, how could you let this happen?! I know you tend to get soft-hearted when Hina really wants something, but this was stupid beyond belief"
"I'm sorry, Sir"
Hi, everyone! It’s Toobo here XD
I know, I know… sometimes I disappear, come back and say I will start updating regularly again, then disappear again :( So I won’t make that excuse or promise this time, but just say that I’m happy to be finally able to find some time to write again.
I’ve never really talked about what I do IRL before, but I guess judging from My Lady story it becomes pretty obvious I’m no highschool kid XD. Anyways, so what happened was that I got a new job - normally it’s nothing exciting and nothing worth mentioning, but I’m pretty happy with this new job I’m working in and it’s a rather drastic change from what I used to do which, ahem, had some links to what I’ve been writing for My Lady. I experienced a lot of really cool things in this field and have no regrets but I’ve been wanting find and explore some new directions in my life. So anyways, this new job I’m talking about is…
I became an English Literature & Media Studies teacher:D Not a full time teacher in public schools but at least it’s something I have personal interest in and it’s fun talking about novels and poems and media stuff with students every day. Planning the lessons and preparing teaching materials take a lot of time and that’s what’s been keeping me busy, but now that I’ve been doing this for some months now I got hang of it and can work more efficiently. I even sneaked in the intro chapter of my another story “Are we still lovers?” for students to analyse and write essay on (obviously without telling them it’s mine XD). So if there are any readers of my story out there who are still in school, be suspicious when your teacher gives you some weird ass story you’ve never heard of before and ask you to write essays on them. I may not be the only one doing this ;)
Anyways, overall I’m happy with this new path I’ve taken and feel really appreciate of everyone here who’s been supportive even throughout my absence. Now that it has become a job for me to teach literature and media studies to students my work has become more in sync with my hobby of writing & reading, so I hope this will create a positive feedback loop where I enjoy writing in the evenings and teaching about other writings during the days.
Thank you every one!
