19.32% Classroom of the Elite: A tale of Nanaya / Chapter 57: -57- The difference between four classes

章節 57: -57- The difference between four classes

"As things stand, Class A and Class C are two completely different classes."

Ichinose Honami began her explanation with this sentence to Nanaya Hori.

"Class A currently has the highest number of class points and the best grades. The students in this class generally have high academic abilities, and classroom discipline is also the best. In the first month of school, hardly any class points were deducted. However, this class has split into two factions due to differences in ideology, and there's still no way to unify them," Ichinose said.

"These two factions are called the Sakayanagi Faction and the Katsuragi Faction."

In other words, Class A is currently in a state of internal strife, with two factions at odds with each other.

"I seem to have heard about this from friends in Class A," Kushida Kikyou recalled, making this statement.

Meanwhile, Nanaya Hori reacted to a term just mentioned by Ichinose Honami.

"Sakayanagi? Isn't that the surname of the chairman of Advanced Nurturing High School?"

Could it be...

"What's wrong, Hori-kun?" Ichinose Honami noticed Hori's unusual reaction and spoke up.

"...Nothing," Hori suppressed his thoughts and did not reveal them.

"Then let me continue," Ichinose Honami said, as if sensing Hori's reluctance to dwell on the topic.

According to Ichinose Honami, both factions in Class A have their leaders.

The leader of the Sakayanagi Faction is Sakayanagi, who is calm, cool, and has immeasurable thinking ability. She is trusted by her classmates but is also quite aggressive and physically weak, needing a cane to move around freely.

The leader of the Katsuragi Faction is Katsuragi Kouhei, who is calm and conservative compared to the more aggressive Sakayanagi. He tends to be more defensive and has considerable support in the class, which allows him to contend with Sakayanagi.

"It's fortunate that Class A is still in turmoil. Otherwise, if they united to attack our class, we would have a harder time," Ichinose Honami said, speaking from experience.

"Compared to Class A, the overall quality of Class C behind us may not be high, but in terms of threat and aggression, they might even surpass the tumultuous Class A."

As Ichinose Honami said this, her expression became serious, surprising Kushida Kikyou.

"Is Class C more difficult to deal with than Class A?" It was hard to imagine.

After all, Class C is only one rank above Class D, and its overall ability couldn't possibly be higher than Class A, right?

However...

"Class C has individuals more dangerous than Sakayanagi and Katsuragi in Class A," Ichinose Honami said gravely.

"That person, like a dictator, dominates the entire Class C and doesn't hesitate to use any means to achieve his goals, even resorting to violence, which he can effectively utilize. He assumed the role of a tyrant shortly after the school started, instilling fear in everyone in Class C."

Ichinose Honami looked at Hori.

"Personally, I believe that person is currently the most dangerous individual in this school."

From the beginning, Ichinose Honami had been repeating this adjective.

"Dangerous."

Not a threat, but danger.

This dictator in Class C is like a bomb ready to explode at any moment.

"His name is Ryuen Kakeru," Ichinose Honami mentioned the name of the dangerous individual like this.

"We're most wary of this individual in our Class B, as well as Class C, which he dominates," this also informed Nanaya Hori and Kushida Kikyou.

As the lowest tier of the school, if Class D wants to climb up, they'll have to contend with this most dangerous individual and his class.

No, that statement isn't entirely accurate.

"Even if Class D doesn't have any intentions, I believe Ryuen Kakeru would still control Class C and do something to Class D," Ichinose Honami hesitated for a moment before expressing this sentiment.

"That person won't just focus on what's in front of him. To prevent Class D from catching up, he might take action against them too."

Ichinose Honami didn't provide any evidence for her statement; it was merely her personal intuition.

So, Ichinose Honami just wanted to caution them.

"Be careful, especially you, Hori-kun. You're currently the talk of the school, and if Ryuen Kakeru sees you as a threat, he'll definitely approach you."

Ichinose Honami probably meant well, just trying to warn Hori. However, it sparked some interest in Hori instead.

"Ryuen Kakeru?"

The most dangerous person in Advanced Nurturing High School?

Hori was somewhat curious to see him in action.

That's Hori's bad habit.

Because Hori never fears danger.

Apart from that, Hori also became interested in another matter.

"What about your Class B?"

Hori asked straightforwardly.

"What's the situation like in your Class B?"

This question caught Ichinose Honami off guard for a moment.

There was no way around it.

If not careful, others might see it as probing for information about their adversaries.

Even Kushida Kikyou subtly tried to restrain Hori, as if urging him to be more discreet.

But, Hori's personality completely ignored Kushida Kikyou's gesture.

This amused Ichinose Honami.

"There's nothing particularly special about our class," Ichinose Honami said with a smile. "The students are very united and friendly with each other. I'm very lucky to be assigned to Class B. If I were in Class A, I definitely wouldn't be as happy as I am now."

Ichinose Honami genuinely showed a happy and proud smile.

It can be imagined that this girl really likes the environment she's in now and genuinely prefers Class B from the bottom of her heart.

If Class B is really as Ichinose Honami described, united and friendly, then as long as considering the treatment in Class A, anyone would think Class B is better.

After all, Class A is currently divided into two factions, fighting each other, while Class C is under the terror of a dictatorship. Compared to the unity and friendliness of Class B, in terms of environment, it's not even close.

And Class D also has its own set of problem children.

Therefore, among the entire first-year class, Class B probably has the best class condition, right?

But even so, Class B still needs to worry about the troubles from Classes A and C.

"This school really doesn't allow people to relax," Hori shrugged, expressing his thoughts.

"I agree," Ichinose Honami chimed in with a smile.

Kushida Kikyou, seeing that there was no unpleasantness between Hori and Ichinose Honami due to the earlier topic, seemed to relax a bit.

The three of them continued chatting as they walked into the school building.
