He was the only one who could see the girl. After the officer failed to notice her, Yuta went around and asked others if they could see her.
To his surprise, none could.
"A quirk that only lets certain people see her?" Yuta pondered and considered taking her to Aizawa, thinking that maybe his quirk could help.
But he just shook his head—that was his last option, and he wasn't willing to go to Aizawa just yet.
Sighing in defeat, Yuta couldn't do anything but buy something for the girl to eat while he pondered what to do next.
"Do you really not remember your name?" Yuta asked again. With no other way to discover her identity, he could only rely on the girl.
The girl, who was sitting on a swing and eating the dango he bought her, cutely looked at Yuta and shook her head.
Sigh.
"I'm no detective, and the fact that I'm the only one who can see her just makes things perfect," Yuta thought, ruffling his hair in irritation. But then, suddenly, he had an idea.
"Wait a minute, she lived in that house, right? That means there's a chance I can find something about her there."
"Alright, no rest for heroes. Come on, we're going back to the house. Let's go." Yuta smiled, making the girl giggle as she watched him act silly and talk to himself. But she followed him nonetheless.
Back at the house, Yuta let the girl play alone in her room while he searched the rest of the place.
This time, he wasn't just looking for anything related to the quest but more specifically for information about the girl. Given that the entire house was nearly empty, it was almost impossible to find anything concrete.
Strangely, though, the girl's room was untouched, with everything still in place. So he focused on her room, examining everything with extra attention.
He looked for any names written in books or on her belongings, or any papers available around the house.
But as it got late, he sighed. He couldn't continue searching at that hour, especially since the girl was looking very sleepy.
In the end, he put everything in that room into his system space before scooping up the girl and leaving the haunted house.
He didn't want to stay there any longer than absolutely necessary. It was already dark, and the girl was fast asleep in his arms.
For the time being, he decided to take the girl back to his home. Since no one else could see her, that was the only option he had.
"Wait a minute, wasn't it season 3 or 4—maybe 5… ah, whatever, one of the seasons of MHA was about saving a little girl." Yuta never watched MHA that far, but he did know something.
He looked at the girl in his arms and pondered, "Is she her?"
It was possible since the address he got was from the system, but without any proof, he couldn't assume that.
Not to mention, it still didn't explain why only he could see her. Again, maybe something to do with the system.
For a second, his mind even entertained the possibility of her being a ghost...
But he immediately shook his head. Ghosts aren't this cute, don't eat human food, and can't be touched by others, can they?
He was holding the girl in his arms and could feel her warmth against his chest, not to mention her rhythmic breathing.
There's no way she's a ghost.
"Nah, this has got to be a quirk, something similar to Toru's but only visible to me, even when she's fully clothed. I don't even have my Sharingan active, so that doesn't make sense either," Yuta pondered as he finally reached home, exhausted.
He slowly put the sleeping girl on the bed and changed out of his dirty, torn clothes. After getting something to eat, he planned to check all the stuff he got from the house, which he had, of course, stored in his system space—but he was too sleepy.
He hadn't slept for 48 hours, considering the JJK world, not to mention all the fighting with that patched-face guy and the Nomu.
He really needed sleep by now.
"Whatever, she's not going anywhere, and neither is the quest. It's a problem for tomorrow's Yuta. Nothing to do with me," Yuta thought as he rolled his eyes and collapsed face-first onto the sofa.
He gave the entire bed to the little girl.

The Next Day.
"Yuta...Yuta...Yuta..."
Yuta woke up to a little girl jumping around him, shouting his name.
"Yeah, how are you?" Yuta groggily woke up and looked at the girl. He blinked and narrowed his eyes. Was it his imagination, or did she look slightly bigger?
"What do you want?" Yuta asked, but to his surprise, she didn't even react.
He later realized that she wasn't calling him; she was just repeating his name and playing around, having fun.
Sigh... kids.
"Come on, let me get you something to eat. I'm starving too. And while I'm at it, I'll think of a good name for you." Yuta smiled and stretched his body.
She looked at him and smiled.
"Rika likes pancakes."
"Okay, pancakes it is th—"
Yuta was saying while moving towards the kitchen, but then he froze.
"What did you say?"
