Kayden stiffened as he turned to look over his shoulder. He heaved a sigh of relief when he saw another man being dragged away by two hoodlums. For a second he thought they were coming for him. 

He didn't fear a fight but if they were to get entangled in a fight on someone else's turf, it would be quite idiotic of them. And unlike Nicolai, who welcomed a fight anywhere and at any time, Kayden was one to weigh the pros and cons before jumping into one. 

Taking advantage of the situation when everyone was looking at the man being dragged, he quickly found Ariana's photo, which Penelope had handed to these thugs before changing it with Penelope's. 

Once the deed was done, he slipped right next to Nicolai, who heaved a sigh before agreeing to the deal that was certainly a losing bet. 

"Come again, little boy," Jerry bid farewell to Nicolai while looking at him as if he was looking at a loser.
