Zena glanced at Noah, who lightly shared a glance with her before turning to look away. Though he did not say anything explicitly, it touched her heart when she saw him stand up against his wife and change the course of actions that he had been taking ever since they started this wedding talk. 

She then turned her attention back to Mrs Mia, who was gaping like a goldfish and then said to her, "He is correct, Mrs. Mia. While this dress is lovely, I do not like it…I want something more modern, easy to carry, and a mix of something between cute and sexy. I hope you will understand?" 

When Mrs. Mia heard the words of Zena, her expression, if possible, turned even more cold. She was not only upset with her son but also with Zena. Because her refusal to accept the dress that she chose was clearly a defiant act in the face of her authority, and Mrs. Mia didn't like it.
