Once she took a bath, Ariana dressed up in a white t-shirt and matching pants, a denim jacket thrown over her shoulders as she stepped out of the room. Her long hair was tied in a ponytail as she pranced around the house, picking trash.

The apartment had turned into a pigsty as Ariana had not bothered to clean it while she was wallowing in her unsettling emotions. Her gaze fell on the dust and debris, and Ariana pursed her lips.

"Aiden was right, I can't go on like this," Ariana muttered. Now that she had let go of the past, it was time for her to embrace the present and live a better life, after forgetting the things that happened to her.
