Ashley rubbed her temple. "I have a headache. Can I have some water?" Idris quickly poured her a glass of water and fed it to her before saying,

"Valerie said you would sleep it off, but how are you feeling now?"

Ashley forced a smile, remembering everything clearly. She felt a slight discomfort, which could be attributed to the new waves of power swimming through her veins.

"I feel so funny, but after drinking the water, I kind of feel better."

Alpha Idris was glad but still had a major concern, asking seriously. "Are you sure you don't remember me?" It was difficult to accept that she couldn't, but Ashley smiled at him.

"Did you believe that?"

A chuckle escaped him as he nudged her. "You silly girl. You scared the hell out of me."

Ashley laughed, finding her frustration amusing. "I loved the look on your face when I said it."
