"Isn't your condition a bit too much?" Su Luo had also thought about Zhong Ni's worries. He stared intently at the yellow car.
"If it's only information censoring, we wouldn't dare to open our mouths to make the request. However, the young master had been too hasty in his actions yesterday. Because of a small disadvantage, he appeared in our territory and started smashing things. Smashing things wasn't a big deal either. It can be treated as our apology towards you, but there was a present I had prepared for a special guest that was destroyed as well. Why wouldn't this loss be calculated in?" As soon as the sentence was finished, an arm reached out from the car and handed something to the scary-faced man.
That man looked at Zhong Ni with delight as he passed over the item for the three of them to examine. The three guys lowered their heads and realized it was a playback video that had recorded a scene of Zhong Ni smashing and destroying furniture and equipments. Su Luo tossed Zhong Ni a glare. If he couldn't handle the matter with efficiency and covertness then he shouldn't have acted at all. This was clearly reaping what one has sowed.
He opened up a brocade box.
Shu Kori, who had been quiet all this time, finally made a sound. "He accepts the request, but he can't guarantee the race ranking."
"Not a problem. I believe that the person known as the Flying Leopard in the world of underground racing isn't mediocre. Great, I will take care of everything and definitely will not disappoint you guys. With regards to the fees, I'll be fair. See you guys again in Washington. Oh right, please give your father my greetings." The mysterious person inside the car said to Shu Kori.
Shu Kori suddenly got out of his car and walked over to the yellow car. With a grin, he said, "You should also give your boss my greetings."
A few seconds later, the yellow car's door slowly opened. A man with a tall nose and blue eyes, approximately 30 years old, with a stoic face stepped out and held his hand out to Shu Kori. "I will definitely deliver the message."
Shu Kori smiled politely and shook the man's hand.
"Tch, it's ended already. There was nothing interesting." Lily watched the group of cars leave and disappointedly lay down on the steering wheel.
Xia Lin was sitting next to her and she was scared to the point her face was pale white. Trembling, she tugged on Lily's arm and asked, "Is it over?"
Seeing Zhong Ni's crestfallen expression, Lily pulled Xia Lin out of the car and ran over towards the three guys. She was curious as to why they had given in so quickly. No matter how expensive the present may be, Zhong Ni's family had the money, so why had they instantly agreed to the request?
Noticing Lily's confused gaze on the broken jade, Shu Kori chuckled and explained, "It's because he didn't use his eyes and blindly smashed everything. In truth, this jade isn't a rare item but the person who gifted it and the person who received it are people we can't go head-on against. For that reason, he's going to have to risk his life to compensate."
Listening to the explanation, Lily realized that Shu Kori had a full understanding of the situation.
Next to him, Su Luo furrowed his eyebrows. "Who was that person? Do you know him?"
Shu Kori's smile disappeared. In a serious manner, he replied, "Di Clan's people." At the moment when the person reached his arm out of the car, Shu Kori had seen a Daniel Craig tattoo on the man's wrist with the help of the car's headlights. The tattoo represented the status and position within the Di Clan. Consequently Shu Kori had quickly agreed to the condition.
"Di Clan? Zhong Ni, you should feel lucky that you're the young master of Feng Yang." Upon the mention of Di Clan, Su Luo was startled as he said with a grim face.
Zhong Ni silently cursed in his head.
The Di Clan was one of the biggest crime syndicates in the underworld. They were infamous for their ruthless and cruel methods as well as their heartlessness. A simple step could make the entire underworld shake and tremble. Zhong Ni's family was considered one of the influential and powerful businesses in mainstream society but they still didn't have the guts to directly oppose the Di Clan.
It looks like they had really given him some face this time. If it was someone else, he would've probably already lost his life without a chance of a cordial conversation. Then again, Zhong Ni had Su Luo and Shu Kori's support. They were probably showing those two some respect as well.
Lily couldn't make sense of what just happened and shook her head. She'd been looking forward to some drama. Ignoring Xia Lin, who was currently deep in conversation with Su Luo, she turned around, got into her car, and left.
She could care less about criminal syndicates and business enterprises. At that very moment, her only concern was catching up on sleep.

Two days later, Lily found herself sitting across from Shu Kori on a private jet. The easygoing smile on his face made her scowl. She had no idea what his problem was. The last two days, he'd been constantly hanging around her — her sarcasm had been unable to repel his presence. If she ignored him, he talked to himself. He'd watch TV whenever she slept; during meals, he'd pile food onto her plate; he joined her every time she decided to go out. He was like a puppy that was impossible to get rid of.
