章節 67: Chapter 66: The Unnamed.

Rigel saw a lot of books on the shelves that were carved from the cave walls. He believed he was still in the same cave, only in a lower part of it. He saw bodies and he counted 83 people that he had seen so far in that place. He could spend his time there for years, and it might not be enough to read everything.

He kept walking and looked around the chamber until he felt a breeze of air hitting his nape. He turned around and searched for the source of that breeze of air.

It took him a while to find the small hole in the wall behind the bookshelf. He wondered if it was a hidden passage or a secret room, so he pulled all the books and thought one of them would trigger the secret door.

"Can I destroy this place?" Rigel muttered.

His right hand suddenly moved on its own and it waved at him. He chuckled and didn't expect it would work like that, and it was quite funny to look at. Suddenly his body moved on his own and walked toward another bookshelf. His hand pulled a book and he heard the crunching sound of the wall moving.

He took a peek when the gap on the wall became wider and found something interesting. He walked into the secret room and it was bigger than he thought, especially the fact that the room was filled with a lot of valuable things.

He looked at the materials where some of them shined brightly when it reflected the fire. His eye focused on a stack of scales in the corner of the room. He looked at them and felt them until he realized it was Stryg's scales where they were pitch black and heavy since a single scale was almost as big as him and as wide as him if he opened his arms.

"You don't mind if I use them, right?" Rigel asked Stryg inside his head. "I'm going to make the strongest armor with these..." He held a scale and lifted it up, amazed at the scale which was still in perfect condition.

When he put down the scale and leaned it against the wall, the wall collapsed, revealing another room. He looked at how dark it was and how eerie the aura it oozed. He looked at the damage on the other wall, and he noticed the wall was different from the rest as if it was open in the first place.

He walked in and realized it was just a small room with a desk and a chair. He looked at a beautiful woman resting her head on the table with a gentle smile on her face. He looked at the tiara that was placed on the edge of the table and a pile of books under it.

He carefully put the tiara away and grabbed the book on top. He looked at the cover made of leather with a number VI on it. He looked at the book below it and it had number V on it. He thought those books were some kind of diaries, but he wondered why she hid herself in that small room. He believed the answer would be in those books that she wrote, so he took a bag next to the table and put them all there.

He left the small room and went back to the secret room to check if there was anything valuable that he could take. He found a translucent crystal as big as his palm, and he took it even though he didn't know what it was. He then tried to degrade Stryg's scales into dust or small particles since it would be impossible to bring them all like that.

It took him a few days to degrade the scales into dust, and he had to get another bag to fill it up. That amount of dust would be enough to make couples of full armor and a lot of weapons. He then went back to where he got teleported since the magic formation was the only way for him to leave that place.

Rather than getting teleported back to the cave, he was teleported on the other side of the island. It was convenient for him so he didn't have to deal with Players, especially Anfer, Skola, and Ensen.

"I don't think there's anything I can do here on this floor," Rigel said as he looked at the bags on his back. "It was short, but it was nice..." He added and decided to go the tower to the 4th floor.

(On the 40th floor)

Madam walked out of the tower and looked at the village in the middle of the desert. She could see Players heavily injured scattered around her because of the 3 Guilds hunting outlaws and taking over their territories. She remembered back when she was an outlaw and became a Headhunter after she mastered her unique skill.

All the outlaws who were groaning and grunting in pain suddenly went quiet when they saw Madam walk on the street with Leid and 40 Unnamed Players. Those Unnamed Players wore a white cloak with gold embroidery, a silver armor underneath it, and lastly they wore the same necklace which was like a lieutenant's badge but made of gold.

Those Unnamed Players were indeed unnamed because on the Player's Leaderboard, ranks 11 up to 50 were unnamed. They got rid of their identity and devoted themselves to Gods who bestowed them exclusive skills. Those Unnamed belonged to Alwin, the 2nd strongest Player in the tower.

"Those guilds are fucked..." A man who lost his left hand stared at Madam and the Unnamed Players.

Madam looked at the map of the 40th floor, and she could see the territories of the outlaws called Nest. There were a total of 6 Nests on the 40th floor, and the average Player's level were 140. To compare how strong they were, they could easily have defeated the Drake's leader with empty hands and only used their strength.

Madam's level was 281, and Leid's level was 317 which was twice strong as them. She could easily fought 100 Players with level 140 while Leid could deal with 350 Players with level 140. But since Madam had possessed Dragon's Power, she could massacre 500 Players.

On the Player's Leaderboard, Madam sat on the 201st while Leid sat on the 66th. That was their current ranks, and the rank was based on their records of climbing the tower. Although it seemed they were on top, the 3 Guilds' leaders weren't that far from them, and they wouldn't be stupid enough to mess around with Player Association if they were weak.

The Soaring Sun guild's leader, Cardin, his level was 299 and he currently sat at rank 267 on the Player's Leaderboard. The Silver Cross guild leader, Zest, his level was 300 and he currently sat at rank 271. Lastly, the Pure Blood guild leaders, Silas and Alice, the twins sat at ranks 279 and 280, and their levels were 303.

Although they resided on the 30th floor, they all had cleared the 69th floor which was what made their ranks higher than Madam's. Madam hadn't cleared the 69th floor since she didn't want to climb the tower and she wasn't a Ranker like those leaders.

"120,000 Players from the 3 guilds that are currently on this floor," Leid said as he approached Madam with his arms crossed after he gathered information from outlaws around him. "Funny that they seek justice after these scum killed and stole from other Players," he scoffed.

"They have no shame, nothing new," Madam responded since she knew them more than anyone else. "The reason why these outlaws do whatever they want is because they're getting rid of the unworthy. Those who survived mean they're strong enough to climb the tower which is a good thing for the Player Association since they only need to monitor those Players that passed this floor," she explained.

"What do you want to do now? The Executives ordered you to send those guilds back," Leid looked at the Unnamed.

"Yes, but that's not the only thing they want," Madam answered as she marked the map. "They want me to teach them a lesson or two," she folded the map as she looked at Leid.

Leid raised his eyebrows and he could imagine what would happen to those who were unfortunate.

(At the same time in a different area on the 40th floor)

"Madam is here on this floor," Zest entered the big tent where all the guild leaders gathered.

Silas, Alice, and Cardin looked at each other and they never thought the Player Association would send Madam. They had expected that kind of situation, and it didn't make them worried about her presence.

"That's not the bad news," Zest pointed out and looked at them. "The Unnamed is here, all of them. Madam is leading them and that's not good," he added.

"Don't worry about that. I'll handle this," Alice stood up and she looked confident and calm. "Trust me on this one and we will be fine," she added as she grabbed her folded fan.

"What are you going to do? You know Madam and the Unnamed are the last people with common sense. She tortured and killed a member of mine," Cardin said with a serious expression.

"Just follow me and you'll see," Alice unfolded the fan and covered her mouth with it.
