"I gave you one chance," you were referring to the fact that the blue bird had escaped once.

"I won't give another," and with that, you exterminated it into ashes.

The mission that had popped up earlier didn't say anything about healing all the targets! Taking advantage of this, you vent your frustration.

You turned around and stared at the birds whom you had healed, all of them bowing before you.

Apparently, they had both fear and respect for you.
