The three of them had dinner and then each drove home.

Chi Zaozao, holding onto the gift that Wanjun had given her, treasured it all the way, sitting in the passenger seat, without saying a word to Ye Que.

Throughout history, she had never been this quiet or well-behaved — she didn't throw herself at him for a kiss recklessly, nor did she try to chat with him about various topics.

In the car, there was an unusual silence.

This atmosphere, however, made Ye Que feel strangely uncomfortable.

Unable to bear it any longer, he reached over and snatched the small box from Chi Zaozao's arms.

Chi Zaozao was startled and looked at him in surprise, "What are you doing?"

Ye Que placed the little box on his left side, out of her reach, and said with a cold face, "The person is gone, what's the use of keeping this? I'm throwing it away."
