"tap, tap, tap, tap"

The sound kept reverberating in Kruxe's ears, and though he wanted to ignore it and keep his eyes shut, the incessant sound and tappings on his body had him opening his eyes.

"Oh," Kruxe muttered in a coarse voice as he saw what was happening in the world around him.

Unable to bear the pressure of the raindrops that dripped on him, Kruxe's eyes had no choice but to close and take a few seconds to prepare for the harsh conditions they were about to fully enter.

While he closed his eyes in preparation, Kruxe tried to remember what had happened before he fell asleep and the scenes of the two men who had carried him away came floating into his head but unfortunately, these scenes didn't come alone, they brought about a piercing headache with them.

"Arghhhh," Kruxe groaned in the rectangular hole in which he had slept, turning his head left and right. 

Suddenly, Kruxe blinked his eyes open and pushed himself to his feet.
