Ughhh
"W... here am... I...?"
His words broke apart unintentionally as the man spoke in a dry voice. The white, blinding rays interrupted his vision when he tried to open his eyes.
He could feel something hard beneath the back of his head. Not just his head, but his whole body was lying on something hard. Ground? He couldn't tell.
Gradually, the blue sky became clear to him as he began regaining his vision. The blue ends of his hair covered his deep blue eyes partially.
Pushing the short bangs aside, he rubbed his eyes while pushing his body forward. He sat down on the ground, trying to comprehend what had happened. The confusion is visible on his face.
"What did just..."
That question stopped the moment memories of a few moments ago came flooding in. He could vaguely remember whatever had happened. The headache he was getting from remembering it made him rub his head.
He found himself sitting on the ground with only confusion in his heart. That feeling soon disappeared as a voice fell on his ears.
"Lord Jaden, you have been spacing out since earlier."
Jaden's body flinched when he realised who was speaking. Goosebumps, along with sudden chills running down his spine, were being felt by him.
There's no way that he was mistaken. The owner of that voice was the reason why he had to go through one of the most absurd experiences of his life.
The crimson-red hair could be seen glistening under the sunlight when Jaden spun his head towards the voice. The man's emerald-green eyes squinted as he held onto the bunch of books between his arms.
Jaden's expression remained unhinged with a sense of bewilderment. What was that feeling? He was sure that something like that had happened before.
'Isn't this...'
That's when Jaden noticed exactly where they were. The same place as earlier: the training grounds in Elven Village.
It was the same series of events he witnessed before borrowing the book, which he thought were related to history. Everything was unfolding as it had before. What was it about?
Jaden could tell that something was weird. No, everything was just beyond suspicious. Drowned in his deep thoughts, Jaden was staring blankly at the air again.
Was it really that he had returned, or was it another one of those illusions? When that question had just arisen in his mind, a sudden realisation left him calm.
During the time he spent observing the records, he was never able to move his body out of his own will. Unlike that time, he had moved his body without any problems.
"Man... Are you even listening to me?!"
Blaise grumbled at his lack of attention to his words. The books lied on the ground widespread besides him. He let his own body fall down in order to sit on the floor.
Jaden's right eye twitched slightly with an awkward smile on his lips. That place was no different than the one where he had sat when this happened before.
Even when the similarities were huge, there was a small difference. The books lying on the ground weren't four, but three. Jaden could read the titles clearly from that distance.
[Basic Magic Theory]
[Way of the Sword]
[Adventurers Guide]
Blaise picked one of those books and waved it in his hand back and forth. He spoke while smiling lightly in a grumpy manner.
"Would you mind coming here and reading one of these?"
"No. I'm good."
The response was the fastest Jaden had ever given in his life to someone. He had learned an important lesson from his time in that world: never take stuff from strangers.
Even though Blaise wasn't really a stranger, Jaden was hell-bent on following that rule. He didn't care how it didn't even sound valid.
It was the best he could do to avoid situations like that a while ago. Getting dragged and trapped into another dimension was an experience he would prefer not to go through again.
He wasn't certain of what exactly had happened, but he had two clues at the point. Firstly, the mysterious being would show up whenever Aliana wasn't around.
'And secondly...'
The first time it appeared was during the time Jaden had just woken up in his current body. And what it signalled towards was...
'Did something happen to her...?'
Aliana Rosenstein. The villainess who was at the center of all the events happening. And maybe she was the one who had dragged Jaden into everything too.
At that moment, Jaden was still unaware of the true chaos brewing over the skies of the Sabbianyth Empire.

-At Sabbianyth Empire-
Rumbleeee rumbleee
The clouds swirled over the sandy terrain, with loud sounds spreading in the air. The lightning bolt must've hit something at quite a distance.
The windy climate made the sand blow into the people's eyes. The houses made of sandstone had no trouble standing in such harsh conditions.
"Woah... That's some storm you've brought in..."
Her long blonde hair wavered violently because of the fast-flowing air. Her pearly green eyes trembled, trying to resist the winds.
The white robe she was wearing shook due to the rough flow of air. Besides her stood the little girl with red hair and pale-blue eyes, staring at the skies in a daze.
"Like I said, I wasn't the one who brought it..."
The third woman spoke from a distance. The black robe covering her fluttered lightly since she was standing past a wall. The hood covering her hair was getting filled with air.
Swoooosh
Her amethyst-like violet hair, which was tied up into a ponytail, waved in the air. Her pink eyes adjusted to her nonchalant expression.
In her hands, she held a small ball made of glass. Its brown centre was visible even though it was dark to see through. What even was it?
"Sister is correct-! It's because sister Alia picked that-"
Melanie tried to confront Aliana while pointing at the glass orb in Aliana's hands. That indeed looked like the source of the problems to her, who had been observing since the beginning.
"Stop it, you brat."
Claire pulled on Melanie's right ear while pinching it. It was a joke when she said Aliana brought that storm by herself, but Melanie never understood it.
Sigh
Aliana saw the two grumbling at each other and let out a long sigh. The storm was far from calming down. What had exactly happened to cause such chaos?
No one could possibly know since that story began more than a week prior to the current time. And the person who was playing the main role was no one else but Aliana.
She gazed at the sky, filled with black thunderclouds. Would a rainfall occur if it went on? That wasn't the thought on her mind, though.
'What will 'they' do next?'

BAMMMMMMMM
The sound vibrated the whole ground on which some people stood. The flickering of candlelight cast a pale shadow on the dust that emerged.
The wall broke down into chumps as the huge metallic weapon landed on it. The shadow began to become clearer with the passing time and the fading of the dust.
A muscular man walked out of the spot. A mace was being held by the man, who was visibly boiling from anger.
The light fabric of his white clothes covered his lower half, while the upper half was barely under the clothes. The veins in his body were clearly visible as he stood tightly gripping the mace.
"Have you found them yet?"
His brown hair and his orange eyes glistened magnificently. The black eyeliner under his eyes added to his look even more.
The guards standing nearby trembled with fear. The anger depicted through his violent actions and furious tone of voice was the reason for it. Who even was this man?
"W-we are trying to-"
BAMMM
The tip of the mace touched the ground, with a loud noise vibrating the huge hall. The cracks formed on the tiles under the mace were just minor things. It wasn't the worst of it.
In the past, whenever he got angry, he would surely cause more damage than at the moment. That's how short-tempered this man was. The guards in the long and wide place were too scared to speak.
"I will kill them if they fall in my hands."
He glared at the red carpet with fury igniting in his eyes. There was a lot he couldn't understand. And that's what made his blood boil even more.
"Those frauds..."
This chapter will be in three parts. Next week only those two chapters will be uploaded- (Wed & Sat).
