It took me all night to finish taming the necessary devastators since I had to summon one, tame it, and feed it in case it got the urge to eat someone when it got hungry.

After that, I had to remove the concrete blocks and order them to follow me to the big pen, where I would take them once they were tamed. Once I did that, I would go back to the cage, repair the hole, summon a new devastator, and repeat the process.

It was a bit exhausting and tiring, but once I got the last devastator into the pen and saw all those great creatures, I felt my efforts pay off.

I was very sleepy from not sleeping all night; however, I still had things to do before I could embark on my way out of this damn inhospitable place.

Of my eleven thousand three hundred warriors, only about ten thousand had horses, since many of them died in battle when I faced the other Khalasar.

If that was not enough, apart from the warriors, no one else had even a donkey, which was why the rest of the Khalasar, who numbered about nineteen thousand people, were left to walk, and while there were carts that brought the children, there were only a few and only enough for them, and if I let that happen, with that rate of advance, it would take us at least about three weeks to reach Astapor.

So I decided to summon another type of animal, one that was easy to ride and, at the same time, was docile and very suitable for the desert we were in.

And yes, I was referring to the camel.

This animal is widely used in desert environments because of its peculiar and amazing adaptation to these environments. Being very good at storing water in its humps and withstanding several days without them makes the animal a very preferred creature in Asia and Africa.

Knowing the fact that many of the women in my Khalasar did not have a horse to ride, since for some reason that I did not understand, in my Khalasar only a handful of women had horses, then, I decided for the camel because of its ease to be ridden and guided, plus there would be no problem with them, unlike the horses that I would have to tame and that would take me a long time, even with the golden apple.

So, with the idea clearly in mind, I created a corral similar to the one that held the devastators, only this one being a little bigger, enough to contain the five thousand camels I needed. And while there were not five thousand women in total in my Khalasar, since I was not including the three thousand slave women, the only women who could ride the camels would be the free women.

So the slave women would have to ride in the carriages along with the elders, eunuchs who acted as healers, and the children.

Was it perhaps an absurd and classist attitude towards these women? Hell, absolutely, but that was better than having to walk around like the male slaves.

Once the giant corral was done, I created a water well in the center of it for the camels to drink and drink their fill so they would be ready for the journey.

And with the camel generator activated, I set about spurring hundreds of camels one after another, watching the corral fill up more and more.

Several hours later, and with the clock showing that it was seven in the morning, I had managed to finish my task, seeing the corral full of camels, all of them being of great height and having only one hump. Now, what would come next was to put the saddles on them.

However, this would be done by the women, since I had to show them how to take care of the camel, what food to give them, and how to mount and get off it.

But first, I had to eat. I had not had dinner last night due to the excitement of taming the ravagers, so I was very hungry.

It was at that moment that Amanda arrived at her donkey; she was the one who had practically become my secretary, in the sense that she was the one who gave my orders to all the Khalasar, to the point of having given her a donkey to use.

Mind you, whenever she did that, she was accompanied by Essino, since, even if she was very close to me, she was still a slave to the other Dothraki, and taking orders from one was not well received by them.

"My Khal" Amanda greeted me in a low, respectful tone, seeing that I did not raise my head and look at the ground. That was a common thing among slaves; they rarely raised their heads to look at the Dothraki, and in my case, being the Khal, she practically glued her chin to her chest.

"What do you need, Amanda?" I said that as I inspected her, she was no longer wearing the common Dothraki garments made of straw and grass, but instead wore a sleeveless tan wool tunic attached to her body.

"The cooks have prepared your breakfast for you, my Khal, plus the builders of the floats you ordered and built are waiting to speak to you; they have made significant progress," she answered me, as she glanced sideways at my Blood Riders and my wolves who were sitting or lying down in the case of the latter under a small hut I built.

"Alright, tell them to bring him here, plus prepare food for my Brothers." When I saw that she was about to leave to do as I told her, I stopped her. "That's not all; tell all the free women to meet me here as soon as possible." With that said, I walked over to my blood riders, who were chatting among themselves and competing to see who had ridden the most women.

"Blood of my blood," I greeted them, to which they responded with the same greeting, as Mottaekho stood up and brought me a saddle.

"Were they talking about anything in particular?" I joined their conversation, Gezro being the one who answered me, "We were talking about which of us had had more women; so far, Cakoqqo is winning."

"Well, he is winning only because we have also counted the old women," commented Onno mockingly, earning the laughter of all present.

Soon after, a group of women brought the food, which included eggs cooked in water, beef and pork, mashed potatoes, goat cheese, bread, fruit, several jugs of wine, and fermented goat's milk beer.

I had a breakthrough in my Khalasar's gastronomy, since I was unwilling to eat horse meat, and one thing I had plenty of leftover was food, so I made the most of it. During the meal, I continued chatting with those I now considered my... brothers. Telling anecdotes and cracking a joke or two from time to time.

When we had finished eating, and had given a large pig to each of my wolves to eat, the free women of the Khalasar began to arrive.

Many of them wore garments made of straw and poorly made leather, giving them a not-so-attractive appearance, even if their hair was clean and their bodies were fresh from the two obligatory baths a day I had imposed.

"Follow me," I ordered them once I stood up, and headed towards the camel pen with my brothers and my wolves, following me, the women also started walking behind me.

When we reached the camel pen, I could see their surprised look at the absurd amount of animals unknown to them, although they were curious about them.

"These animals are called camels! And from now on, they will be your responsibility; you will care for them, you will feed them, you will protect them, only you, as Dothraki women will ride them, so watch out if I see a slave woman using one!"

With that said, I busied myself for the next few hours teaching them how to ride them, how to put the saddles on them, which went low down between the neck and the camel's back, as well as showing them that they ate cactus, and that to get it they had to go to a specific carriage where their food would be taken from them.

It was not until the afternoon, when the sun was already in full swing, that the representatives of each guild in charge of building the carriages met me, telling me that they were almost all ready to use and that I was only expected to take the devastators so that they would be ready.

With that understanding, I knew I was closer to leaving this shitty desert.

Hi everyone, I'm posting this here because almost nobody reads the author's notes, so, I'm asking for ideas on how I could make the Pillagers, Vindicators, Witches and Evokers loyal to the MC once he summons them, since I don't know which way to go, and while I could give them loyalty to the MC in the same way that happened with the villagers; just because he is their creator in this world, I feel it would be too easy.
