"Hmm," she murmured, her voice as soft as a tender kitten. 

In that moment, she found herself unwilling to let him go, cherishing the way he loved her now, the tenderness, the indulgence, as if she were intoxicated. 

Clutching the fabric of his shirt on his inner arm, she couldn't bear to see him leave.

"I'm really going now!" he said with amusement, looking at this suddenly clingy little woman. 

"Yes," she replied, still not letting go, staying close until he would release her. 

"Can't bear to let me go? Do you suddenly feel like..." he teased, his handsome face lowering in a mockingly seductive gaze.
