章節 161: Chapter 161 - Spider-Man Returns

"I'm sorry!" Lin Ming Yang shrugged, "About that kiss just now..."

When he said that, Alba remembered the embarrassment of that kiss just now, and at that thought, her cheeks couldn't help but burn slightly. Alba glared angrily at Lin Ming Yang, but her face could not hide her bright and charming flavor.

"Under normal circumstances, I should slap you right now!" Alba said this, causing Lin Ming Yang's body to subconsciously lean back, then the other party let out a giggle, the figure of teasing in her eyes growing thicker, "You definitely haven't done this before, but your method is very effective, I think Edmund should be able to completely die this time."

Thinking of the "cup" of the photographer, Lin Mingyang heart also some guilt, of course, this little self-blame was soon replaced by a kiss of a beautiful woman after the excitement, his heart and even evil smug, and Alba in reality and the camera "intimate contact", is a completely different feeling. He was even wickedly smug in his heart, "intimate contact" with Alba in reality and in the camera, is completely two feelings.

"You used to give me a foot massage, and I'll forgive you for the offense just now, but the whole thing can't be left at that!" Alba clasped her hands and ignored Lin Ming Yang's "innocent" expression, after all, she let Lin Ming Yang take advantage of her, even though the other party's reason was honorable, Alba was still a little angry in her heart. "First of all you have to be responsible to the end, if in the future there are other people who come to harass me, you have to take on the role of a flower protector, so that those annoying guys of yours know what to do!"

"If there's still that kind of drama from just now, I'll definitely go all out!" Lin Ming Yang nodded with a bad smile, "But my one doubt, what if you can't find a boyfriend because of me? Regardless of whether our relationship is real or fake, unless you find a guy who's better than me, he'll be under a lot of pressure with the presence of me as his 'ex-boyfriend'."

"That's why you're still responsible for explaining it to him!" Alba felt that Lin Ming Yang had a point and all just brutally added another one.

Lin Ming Yang hemmed and hawed, "In the future, I'll tell your future boyfriend, brother sorry, buddy brought you a cuckold, do you think he'll be able to accept it?"

This time Alba can be difficult, she gave herself an unsolvable problem, in the end she really can't think of a better solution, so she stomped her foot, savagely made a little sex, "I don't care, anyway, you'll be responsible for explaining clearly to him!"

"Fine!" Lin Ming Yang helplessly spread his hands, "What other unreasonable demands do you have, just put them forward together!"

"All future performances must follow the pre-negotiated scripts, and you'll never be allowed to act without authorization like you did today!" Alba pouted and huffed.

"Today was a special situation!" Lin Ming Yang laughed a little heartily, but at the end he still made a request, "The script must be written by me, you know this is my forte."

"Yes!" Alba readily agreed to Lin Ming Yang's "rogue" request, but she also had an additional condition: "You have to make sure that the content of the plot you design meets the G-rated standard."

"G-rated is the standard for animated films, we're not shooting a youth drama, how about PG-13?" The other party was asking for a lot of money, Lin Ming Yang naturally returned the favor, "I'm also doing this for the sake of the acting effect's to be more realistic!"

According to the American movie rating system, PG-13 would at most have a few kissing scenes, Lin Ming Yang's request was not excessive, if it was R-rated, it would be time to strip for bed. Alba considered it for a while, and finally nodded her head in agreement.

The two had just reached an agreement when a staff member from the cast and crew of The New Spider-Man ventured into the corridor where they were talking, and seeing Lin Ming Yang and Alba, he breathed a sigh of relief, ''Finally, I've found you two! The premiere is about to start, and the director asked me to make sure you guys are ready."

Seeing that the time for the premiere was about to arrive, but the two male and female protagonists of the movie were late, the director Sam Raimi was anxious, he had people looking around, this guy came one step late and then missed a wonderful good show.

Lin Ming Yang and Alba nodded their heads at the same time with a tacit understanding, "We'll be right there!"

----

"Coming up below are two very important characters in the movie." The host of the scene deliberately dragged out his voice, "Okay, I can hear someone on stage already chanting one of their names, so let's welcome Spider-Man and his girlfriend with a warm round of applause!"

The lights shining on the host dimmed and went down, a bright light hit the slowly drawn curtain in the center of the stage, and Lin Ming Yang in a simple black dress elegantly walked out slowly holding Jessica Alba, drawing a lively scream from the stage.

The host came to the side of the two of them, then said jokingly, "Felix, when you guys came up, the audience under the stage seemed to be calling your name, and everyone seemed to have forgotten that there was a radiant lady standing beside you."

"Did they?" Lin Ming Yang deliberately played dumb for once, "Why do I feel like everyone's applause and cheers were given to both of us at the same time?"

The host seemed to be intent on making things difficult, "I clearly heard all the screams from the stage just now but they were all the voices of ladies!"

"Then the applause must have been given to Alba by the men present!" Once again, Lin Ming Yang played out his quick-witted humor.

"Alba, do you feel pressure working with Felix?"

The microphone was handed to Alba, the host's questions at the beginning were all a bit unintentional, she pondered carefully and said cautiously, "In life he's a very easy-going guy, he gets along well with everyone in the crew, but when it comes to acting, his attitude becomes very serious, sometimes even a bit stubborn. "

"Were there any moments during filming that were particularly memorable for you, I mean when you were with Felix."

"When we were hanging, we would often bump into each other in the air, but I don't think it was a fond memory because I was always the one who got hurt." Alba looked helpless at the mention of the incident.

To facilitate interaction, the organizers set up several wide sofas on the stage, where all the creators were seated, with Lin Mingyang and Alba sitting to the right of director Sam Raimi. The creators of the movie appeared in turn, except for a few lead actors, cinematographers and producers, the rest of them were seated in the front row of the venue.

The lights of the entire stage were dimmed, and before the interactive session began, a trailer was to be shown, and after the Sony Pictures Logo in the credits, the trailer opened with a shocking scene in which Lin Ming Yang's incarnation of Spider-Man clutched spider silk in his hands and thrummed down from high in the air, and that intense sense of falling from a great height combined with the sound of whistling winds instantly captured the people's eyes. The shot flashed by, but left a deep impression in the minds of all viewers.

In the 5-minute trailer, all the similar exciting shots are just skimmed over like a dragonfly, and the back-and-forth interspersed editing gives people a sense of being dazzled. As an appetizer before a big meal, the trailer did work well, most notably at the end of the screening when many people were still leaning forward, leaning back in their chairs with regret in most of their eyes. The trailer revealed so much that everyone in the audience had the urge to enjoy the movie in its entirety.

The stage lights came on slowly, and the host, propped up on his arms, leaned back against the back of a couch, his tone casual as if he were talking to an old friend, and gently handed the microphone to Sam Raimi, who had the most to say on the subject.

"After watching the trailer, I'm sure most of the audience on stage will have the same feeling as me, the movie looks fantastic, but I'm sure there are quite a few people who will be just as confused as I am. A great trailer doesn't mean the movie itself is good enough to watch, we all know that the trailer never edits out the best passages to present to the audience, this is the usual technique of movie publicity, which often misleads people's judgment of a movie, so will this movie be as great as we think?"

"The shooting of this movie took less than 3 months, but the post-production took a year and a half." Sam Raimi took the microphone and shifted to a more comfortable sitting position on the sofa, "We are not intentionally delaying, everyone who saw Spider-Man swinging the spider silk in his hands unimpeded in this movie owes a great deal to our digitally-animated production team, who were nominated for an Oscar for the first Spider-Man, and this time around, I am reasonably confident that they can bring home the next Oscar gold medal home."

The reason why this movie took so long in post-production also has to do with the fact that Sam Raimi has a stubborn streak that likes to take things seriously. He made sure that all parts of the movie were perfectly articulated, and he had to rely on the stalwarts of the production team behind the movie in the process.

In order to ensure that the film's action scenes are both safe and spectacular, there is a person behind the scenes of the production team played a decisive role, he is the stunt master John Frazier, today he is sitting on the right hand side of Sam Raimi's seat, he has designed a lot of action scenes in the film, when the host asked him about his most satisfied with a group of footage, he mentioned in the Spider-Man and the sandman between the exciting battle. The Great Battle.

The scene begins when Sandman is suddenly attacked by a jet of water from a burst pipe, and is ultimately swept into the sewers leading to the subway. In Raimi's original conception and setup, the Sandman would have to melt away under the force of the water.

"It was the most water-intensive set of scenes of any movie I've ever produced. We used about 50,000 gallons of water, which was then blasted out of a pipe through a contraption about 50 feet away from where the scene was set. However, we modified the hollow center part of the pipe and placed a flow restrictor there so that we could adequately control the size of the water jet. The used water can be recycled and reused through a pump that has a flow rate of 3,000 gallons per minute, which means it only takes us five minutes to refill the large tanks used for water storage in preparation for the next reshoot."

"We had a total of eight hidden cameras working together for this set, where we had to use a sandman made entirely of CG, as the immense pressure created by the flow of water was not something that Thomas Church or any of the stand-ins could have withstood."

Although more than 90 minutes of the 120-minute-long The New Spider-Man's camera footage was composited with computerized effects, Sam Raimi isn't superstitious about special effects: "CG technology is a fantastical cinematic tool for action movies, and it accomplishes parts of the movie that are beyond the reach of human beings. But for areas that are within human reach, I still want to be able to let the actors do it!"

"Almost everything Spider-Man does is some difficult maneuvers, if a real person is used to perform it, will it be dangerous when filming?" The host asked curiously.

"I think that's a question that a few of our lead actors have more say in!" Sam Raimi laughed as he kicked the "ball" to the others.

"Felix, just now Alba complained about how painful it was to hang from a steel cable to shoot a scene, do you feel the same way?" As the biggest actor in the cast, Lin Ming Yang was the first to be the target of the host's question.

"Filming like this is not particularly painful, but it is very time consuming. The process included a lot of preparation, but the shoot was very short. It was difficult for me to put on that outfit, it took half an hour, the camera team needed an hour to set up the equipment, and then everything the stunt team did needed to be rehearsed, they had to connect me to the steel cable and then lift me up, with everyone in place and the fan blowing hard one after another." Lin Mingyang described the whole filming thing to the group in colorful detail.

"They yell 'ACTION!' and then it's shot in 20 seconds or less, I make a move, they yell 'CUT!' and then they put me down and reshoot it all over again. I'm just moving on a steel cable for 20 seconds and then waiting for the next move for 20 seconds and a month goes by."

"Did your work on The New Spider-Man help you direct your own work?"

"I've directed five movies independently so far. Two of them were done before 'The New Spider-Man' started shooting, but none of them were very well invested. I feel like I might move closer to Mr. Sam in the future because he directs big budget movies, you know there's often five crews shooting at the same time and he'll direct the main one and then there's a bunch of people lined up with movie monitors for him to look at footage shot by the other crews, and he's got to review them. The special effects team was always waiting, and he was producing other movies, and somebody would send in tapes of the auditions."

"I don't think he took a minute off in six years. But I've never seen him lose his cool and passionate good nature. That's why I've always tried to have his personality, because I certainly wouldn't have that kind of patience if I were in his shoes now. A lot of people have been asking me why I don't do a big production movie, not because of lack of investment or because I don't feel I'm quite ready right now, which could take a while."

"What about screenwriting?" The host changed the topic once again, "I heard that at first director Sam Raimi was not in favor of Black Spider's plot arrangement?"

"Mr. Sam Raimi should belong to the group of readers of the original comic in the 70's, while 'Poison Spider' appeared in the 80's...he might not be too familiar with this comic plot, but the producers were very supportive of my plot idea, after all, movies are a way to art of 'pleasing' the audience, and this is the time when the 80's comic book fans are on the rise, after all, 'Spider-Man' is everyone's fantasy and not exclusive to one person. Everyone wants to see their familiar characters appear."

"But some fans have complained that your adapted script doesn't exactly honor the original!"

"If it's just a copy of the original, we can just take the manga and remake it directly, so we can even skip the script. But no movie company would do that, for adaptations, my usual principle is to respect the main idea of the original, and then recreate it in terms of the specific plot. In the comics Spider-Man is a superhero, and in the movie script, I didn't write him as an unforgiving villain, people can see familiar characters on the screen in a different story, and I think that's the real charm of the movie adaptation."

"I've heard that the movie ends with a cliffhanger ending, is that setting up the next episode?"

Lin Ming Yang explained, "I did leave a suspenseful ending at the end of the episode, but it was a new clue, it wasn't very related to the previous episodes, it was just related to the sequel. The only thing I can reveal so far is that Spider-Man will return to a normal life in the sequel, and the troubles he encounters are not just evil villains, but also the troubles that all normal people can encounter in their lives, such as relationships, family, responsibilities, and those things."

The moderator's questions in this segment were just a guide, and the creators on stage usually volunteered to break some self-revelations.

"What about you, Alba, did you find anything memorable during the filming process?" There was no more oil to squeeze out of Lin Ming Yang, and the host turned the microphone back on Jessica Alba. Under his questioning, Alba "accidentally" revealed her sprained foot.

"Oh my God, are you really hurt?" The host asked with concern.

"It's just a very minor sprain, but thanks to Felix's miracle ointment from China, my foot was miraculously healed the next day!"

"There really is that kind of ointment?" Such exaggerated healing effects made the hosts express their skepticism.

Alba shrugged, "If you don't believe me, try twisting it once too!"

At this point, the host had to ask Lin Ming Yang for confirmation, "Felix, does that kind of ointment really exist?"

Lin Ming Yang hemmed and hawed, "It's a secret!"
