Grandpa summoned us.

He asked everyone to come over to his house and it wasn't just us. The Durforts were invited too as well as the Chos. 

It was a small party to celebrate three things in particular.

First, my grandmother and Lilith's grandmother finally got home from one of their bestie bonding trips.

The second was to celebrate my and Lilith's wedding since the grandmothers weren't there and neither were most of the family and both Lilith and I come from huge families.

The final reason Grandpa wanted everyone over was to celebrate the fact that there would be four generations of Harris and Durfort heirs, not that our parents ever counted.

I did everything to delay our arrival, I even convinced Lilith to help me unwind with some mind-blowing sex before we headed here.

Unfortunately, today was inevitable.

I loved Grandpa.

He raised me like I was his son, but he also raised me as his heir.

I was never just a kid.
