章節 154: Stress of the Press

I was bored out of my mind as flicked through the channels on the TV. 

It had been days since news of my pregnancy broke, but the press hadn't calmed down at all. 

"I need to do something!" I was frustrated and pregnant and my husband had just walked out of the kitchen, shirtless.

"Didn't you get back from work?" he chuckled as he placed a tray of fruits on the coffee table.

"I did, but I want to go out and you're treating me as if I'm made of glass!" I shouted at him. "No one even knows who I am, Alexi."

"Woah, woah, woah, what did you do to piss her off, cousin," Riley asked as she and Jade entered our house. 

"What makes you think I did anything?" Alexi asked as he pulled me close. "I've been feeding my pregnant wife."

"He won't let me leave," I pouted.

Alexi laughed and kissed the top of my head, "Why do you think they are here, Mi Amor?"

I turned and looked at Alexi, wide-eyed in shock.
