章節 144: Riley's Concern

— Alexi POV — 

"Why did she specifically tell me not to bother this time." I frowned.

I'd asked my cousin to come over in the guise of having a meeting about expanding our businesses, but I couldn't keep my mind off of my wife.

"Maybe because she's working?" Riley rolled her eyes refusing to even look at me.

"But why?" I questioned as I felt an odd feeling in my gut.

What was this?

Jealousy?

Insecurity? 

These were a whole host of emotions that I rarely felt and only felt because of Lilith. 

I knew that if anyone ever found out they would question why I'd even entertained these emotions. 

I was fucking Alexander Harris, one of if not the richest man in the city. I was young, handsome, and married to an incredible woman. If they knew I had a child on the way as well then I'd be the luckiest man alive.
