"So people call you monster here," Delilah instead said, looking around the place casually as if she were above him, and Gladiator sighed.
He massaged his forehead, dismissed the guards guarding the house, and sent them inside.
"Seriously, does everyone around me have this attitude?" He muttered under his breath.
Once the men left, Delilah finally sobered her expression and looked at him thoughtfully.
"I need your help. Katherine had told me that if I ever needed information on something that is out of the reach of all other people, I could contact you," she said.
The man leaned on the large gates with a suspicious look.
"And why should I believe you are indeed one of her people and not someone mimicking her?" He asked.
It was a genuine question. In their line of work, there were many imposters, and it wouldn't be wrong to say he met quite a few until he reached his current position.
