章節 42: A scared girl behind the facade

The elder prince pulled her close before raising his gloved hand, rubbing her bottom lip with his thumb.

"Don't pout like this. It makes you look cute," The elder prince said, his gaze shifting from her lips to her eyes.

"Let's get you out of here, yeah?" He asked before he went under the water, making Katherine immediately place her hand on the skirt of her dress that she pressed down to save herself from more embarrassment than she already went through.

She closed her eyes to calm her heart which was starting to rage as soon as the elder prince grabbed her foot, helping it out of the plant that it got entangled with.

After a couple more seconds, the elder prince surfaced back and looked at the girl.

"Ready to go?" He asked her.

Katherine nodded meekly.

"Thank you for helping me, and I am sorry for -"

"Did I ask for your apology?" He cut her off, and Katherine shook her head.

"No, but you got wet because of me and -"
