Nora Valkyrie tiredly panted as she looked at the emotionless face of her team leader. Jaune Arc stood proudly, dressed in a blue long-sleeved shirt and a pair of pants tucked into a pair of combat boots. He wore a pair of fingerless gloves as he looked at Nora.
"Not bad," Jaune said as he held his hip.
Hearing this, Nora grinned and collapsed on the forest floor.
"You're stance-transition is coming along nicely. Keep that up and you will be able to use those techniques in combat," Jaune said with a smile before his raven landed on his shoulder.
"You two are having fun," Pyrrha said as she and Ren approached their team leader. The duo were dressed in their respective training attires.
"Fearless Leader is a monster in combat!" Nora said as she sat up. "I can't even hit him!"
"Well, I do have more experience in actual combat than you," Jaune said as he looked at his team. "Pyrrha, how was your training?"
"I have to admit the techniques that you showed me are more efficient," Pyrrha said with a blush as she compared their similar techniques in hand-to-hand combat. She knew that both she and Yang were more skilled than Jaune but Jaune managed to keep up with her by using simple yet effective techniques. Even then, Jaune predicted her moves and dismantled them to the point she accidentally destroyed his armor with her semblance.
"Whispering claw is... interesting," Ren said as he remembered the stances Jaune showed him. Hearing this, the Blonde chuckled as he remembered the feeling of learning the Whispering Claw.
"It's an assassination style of hand-to-hand combat," Jaune said as he used telekinesis on his discarded robes. He had shown his team his... 'semblance' the Alteration version of Telekinesis. What? Just because they were his team does not mean he will show them everything.
Side note: When his Aunt Glynda found out, Jaune noted how excited she was. Sadly, it came with a more brutal telekinesis training regiment from his aunt.
Slipping on the high-collared mantle that splits in the middle and closed from the waist up by a darker shade of black and belt, the young man strapped his Blades sword on his waist and completed the rest of his attire by slipping a mask on the side of his head.
Gathering aura in the soles of his feet, the young man smiled at the rest of his team.
"I have something to do for a bit. Why don't you hang out with the others?"
"Sure! See you later, Jaune!" Pyrrha said with a smile as Jaune waved at his friends. It was only after a few minutes when they were gone that he turned around to look at the tree branches. "So, why were you spying on us?" Jaune asked as a shadow landed on the ground.
"Raven Branwen Xiao-Long?"
"You must be Juniper's boy," Raven said as she looked at the Blonde. She looked like a black-haired red-eyed version of Yang dressed in the same color scheme as he did. Black and red. She held the handle of her katana as she looked at him. "A katana? Interesting."
"You know my mother?" Jaune asked before he saw it. "Ah, you must be Yang's mother,"
"You know my daughter?" Raven asked, curious about what she just heard.
"We're friends... I think?" Jaune said as he thought about it. "Our teams are sister teams," Jaune continued with a shrug.
"Good to hear that my daughter is befriending the child of one of my friends," Raven said with a stoic look on her face as she looked at the blade Jaune had on his waist. "I see," Raven said as she looked at Jaune.

Jaune Arc, dressed in his new attire smiled as he looked at the screen. For today's combat exercise, it was a simple spar. In front of him stood his current sparring partner, one Blake Belladonna.
"Hey, Blake," Jaune greeted with a smile as the shadow of his sister team looked at him with wide amber eyes.
While Blake knew Jaune was a good person, the black and red attire with the Katana reminded her of that person. But, she remembered what she saw yesterday after classes.
Jaune Arc smiled as countless birds landed on him. The young Blonde was in one of Beacon's gardens in the view of the library and the former White Fang member saw how many of the animals approached the Blonde with ease. She saw how Nora giggled at the scene while Ren smiled and Pyrrha looked at the animals.
"Jaune," Blake greeted with a nod as she prepared Gambol Shroud. If Jaune used the same fighting style as that person then she would have the advantage.
"Fighters Ready?" Glynda Goodwitch, the combat instructor asked as she looked at the fighters. Blake nodded at her while Jaune nodded at her. While she was confused by her nephew's change of attire, she had a job to do. "Begin!"
"Blake, I know you like a certain series of books," Jaune said with a smile as he looked at the shadow of his Sister team. Hearing this, Blake tensed as she looked at Jaune.
"I'm not as good as them... but," smoke covered the Blonde and her eyes noticed a figure forming in the cloud. Using the pistol form of Gambol Shroud, the young woman aimed her pistol and shot at it, only to stop when she that it was a dagger tied to a piece of cloth.
'Where is he?' Blake thought as she looked around and turned Gambol Shroud to its sword form. 'He's not above, left, or right.' Blake thought to herself.
In a yellow flash, the black-clad young man appeared in front of her, already under guard.
'Shukuchi?!' Blake thought only for it to cut off as she barely dodged a pommel strike while leaving behind an earth clone of herself that shattered in an instant.
"Shadow clones?" Jaune said out loud as he looked at Blake. "I see," 'An Infiltration-type fighter that specializes in hit-and-run tactics,' the Blonde noted as he looked at the battlefield and decided to disguise his semblance.
'Jaune's fast. I thought he was more of a defense-oriented fighter but he used Shukuchi and instantly got under my guard.' Blake thought as she looked at Jaune and paled. 'No, Jaune's attire hides his body enough that I won't be able to predict his moves. What's more, his skill with the sword is just as good as that person...,'
"You're distracted," Jaune said as he suddenly crossed the distance between them and moved. Smooth flowing slice tore through the clones Blake made with terrifying ease and grace as Blue eyes tracked each of her movements with frightening ease.
'He... he's playing with me!' Suddenly, instead of a slash, Blake was sent flying away when she blocked a thrust from Jaune who held his katana with both hands.
"Winner by ring out, Jaune Arc," Glynda announced as Blake looked at where she was. She was out of bounds with her aura almost halved while Jaune's.
The Blonde swordsman's aura had no decrease.
"Not bad, Blake," Jaune said as he flicked the dirt and dust on his blade with one swift motion and flawlessly sheathed the blade. With the use of another Shukuchi, the Blonde appeared in front of her, one hand stretched out to her.
'I was wrong,' Blake thought as she looked at Jaune. She saw his aura, it was a soft shade of white. His blows while heavy were deliberately made sure to not cause any permanent damage. She felt his aura overlap with hers. 'Is this his semblance?' Semblances often take the form of one of the aspects of their user. 'It's warm and soothing,' Blake thought as she felt herself get pulled to her feet.
"Thanks, Jaune," Blake whispered. 'Maybe if more people are like him...'
"Hey! Stop flirting with my teammate, vomit Boy!"
"Shut it, Yang! Strut what your papa gave you, fearless Leader! Rizz 'er up!"
"Nora!"
A soft, melodious chuckle escaped from both the team Leader of team JNPR and the shadow of team RWBY.
"Sorry about Nora/Yang," They both said at the same time.

Luxanna Crownguard, a beautiful young woman with golden hair and azure eyes, watched the scene with awe in her eyes. As a probationary huntress-in-training from her home country of Demacia near the kingdom of Vacuo, she has seen many things but what the team leader of Team JNPR did was similar to what the ninjas of Mistral could do.
"He held back," Looking at her brother and the leader of their team,
"He'd make a good shinobi," Akali, a second-year from Mistral whose team was a part of a student exchange said with a blank look on her face.
While Luxanna was a first-year and an apprentice of her overprotective brother, the young woman looked at Akali.
"Indeed,"
"Katarina?" Hearing the shift in her brother's tone, Luxanna gave him a smirk only to shiver as she saw the look on Katarina's face.
"He... he is more dangerous than anyone I have ever seen," the young woman whispered as her voice shook a bit.
"You see it too?" Akali asked as the redhead nodded.
"What are you two talking about?" Garen asked, unaware of what Akali and Katarina could see.
Katarina looked at the Blonde. She could see for a second that death itself embraced the boy lovingly as if it were a loving mother. As an assassin and a huntress, Katarina has done many kills, some more gruesome than the others, but the young man on the stage. It was as if he was a dark void and what's worse is that she was using everything she could to even register his presence. Her instincts roared at her to be careful of the Blonde.

For Akali, she saw another thing. Corpses. Countless corpses surrounded the blonde and just like Katarina, she did everything in her power to track the Blonde. The moment the smoke bomb hid him, she lost sight of him. But the concerning thing was the corpses she saw around him.
Blue eyes winked in her direction and at that moment, Akali suddenly found her back pressed on the wall as she clung to the roof, sweat falling from her body. The moment she focused more on him, she saw a shadow over the Blonde, a skeleton that contained power, power that she had never seen before as if she had seen the underworld. A king, a king in the underworld, the Underking. Worms, she saw worms, countless worms.
Wriggling, moving, controlling.

Garen saw how quickly Akali reacted and turned to the Blonde and saw something overlap with his form. Full plate armor covered his body.

At the same time, the three released gasps of air as they looked at each other. There was nothing around the Blonde making his way off the stage but it felt so real.
Deep inside Beacon Academy, hidden in his office, Ozpin lowered his cup of coffee. Jaune Arc, his headmistress's nephew was quite the enigma. Untrained and a runaway yet he possesses skills that would take a lifetime to acquire.
"Is he one of yours?" Ozpin asked himself, remembering a beautiful woman in his mind's eyes.
No, not hers.
He looked at the live footage once more and he looked at the discarded dagger. It was a simple dagger lined with gold. Ceremonial in nature yet.
Impossible
How?
Magic laced the blade. Magic that he was not aware of yet was far different from the brothers. But it was still magic.
It could have been a relic but... No, it was not even from one of the sanctuaries, remains of the old world that was left behind when people sought refuge to another dimension when the brother gods remade humanity anew.
The sanctuaries only interacted with themselves but maybe he can pull some favors. There was an unknown puzzle piece and he did not want to get caught unaware especially...
As the headmaster's thoughts ran through numerous calculations, a specter dressed in robes observed the headmaster in the shadows unnoticed. The only noticeable thing that the specter had was the black handprint on his ethereal robes.
