章節 95: Chatting
The next morning, after my exercise, I decided I might try to nip something in the bud.
*knock knock* I rapped on Snape's office door.
"Mister carter" greeted snape "I hope there's no more heroics today" he said.
"Who knows, but I need to talk to you about something personal," I said.
He let me into his office, and we sat down.
"Well, what's this about?" he asked.
"You, sir. This is going be a hard year for you emotionally." I said, looking into his eyes.
"Whatever do you mean." He gritted his teeth.
"Well two of your former, class mates have resurfaced" I said.
"So you know." Said Snape, then paused.
"Yes, so I'm going to say what you said to me. Control yourself and your emotions," I said. "Lupin has never attacked anyone. He might have been your enemy during school and out, but he is not now."
"How much do you know?" Snape seemed angry.
"All of it. I will say this: James didn't know about the prank, and when he found out, he risked his own life to save you." I said. "And you have the right to be angry with the man for all he did in your schooling days. But never forget Harry is just as much as the girl you loved as the boy you hated."
Snape looked at me in shock and anger. "Why are you saying this." He growled.
"Because, I have plans this year and I don't need your past grudges getting in the way" I said.
"You plan to catch black, don't you," Snape said.
"My plans won't be shown till there ready I need you to trust me, and give lupin a break he is shunned from society for the choices of others while you get to sit here in spite of yours." I broke eye contact and looked at his forearm. Snape covered his forearm like it was burnt.
"But he is dangerous", Snape hissed.
"Not more than anyone else with a wand", I said, "especially with your help".
Snape was angry because he knew I was right. "I think it's best you go mister carter" he dismissed me.
Just as I was leaving "I can help you catch black" snape said.
"Think about why you want to catch black. Is it for you or Lilly?" I said and left.
Snape was going to be tormented this year, and he goes a bit nuts at the end. He and Sirius are so much alike, plagued by guilt and hatred, that they can't see reason sometimes.

I stared at the squashed face of Crookshanks. I found him in the entrance courtyard at lunchtime.
"Cute," I said. I had always been fond of animals. "Crookshanks, listen to me. I know you hate scabbers, but I need you to watch him not attack." I said the cat's ears perked up. "Yes, I know what he is. But your attacks will drive people apart when they need to be together. And we can't play our hand till the right moment."
*meow* Crookshanks said.
"When you meet the dog come and find me I have a letter for him" I said.
*meow* Crookshanks linked himself and tottered off.
"Eddie!" I heard the angry voice of Ron." Why are you talking to that cat?" he stormed over to me.
"Always like cats; what's got your nickers in a twist?" I looked at him, confused.
"I knew we shouldn't have trusted a snake like you", he growled at me.
"You wanna say that again, Ronald, because that is the second time a Weasley has accused me," I said, standing up tall.
"Yeah, Dad said you're using Harry ad bait for black", he got up in my face.
I pushed him away. "Yeah sure I thought me and Harry could team up and take him together" I said sarcastic but angrly. "Piss off, and don't talk about things you know nothing about."
Ron grabbed me about the collar he was about to punch me and i was about to break his knose for trying.
"Ron!" Ginny's voice carried across the courtyard. Ron let me go and backed off. "What do you think you're doing!"
"He's a no good snake, ginny", Ron seethed.
"He helped save my life." She retorted that took some of the wind out of Ron's sails.
"He was talking to hermione cat aswell he's been after scabbers since we met I'm sure their planning something" Ron accused.
"That was Hermione's cat?" I said "he looked so cute" I said innocently.
"See Ron eddie isn't planning anything" she said.
"Whatever, he's up to something", he said and stormed off.
"Sorry eddie I don't know what's up with him" she sighed.
"Don't worry, but I'm sorry if he comes at me again I will break his nose" I said with a smile.
"And he will deserve it. I'm writing to Dad about this." She was pissed.
"So, how's it going with Harry?" I asked with a coy smile.
"What do you mean." She blushed.
"Don't forget I was handing out those valentines. I knew who they came from", I winked.
"Noo!" She yelped.
"Aw, come off it. You like him. Don't be shy, be badass. Harry probably likes redheads; I mean, his father did." I said, "And I say try out for quidditch; that will get his attention."
"But I don't have a broom," she said, flustered.
"I'll lend you mine," I said. "I heard the Nifflers are looking for a new seeker, but you could try for Gryffindor as a seeker or chaser to really get his attention."
"Maybe I'll take you up on that", she said and wandered off, giggling every few minutes.

I was walking towards the study group when I was attacked. This blonde monster leapt at me and grappled me in a death grip.
"Luna, I can't breathe", I wheezed.
"Sorry, are you okay?" She asked, "I heard a Hypogryph attacked you" She was generally worried.
"I'm fine just a scratch" I said with a smile." And Buckbeak attacked Draco. I just got in the way."
"so you're okay?" she asked with concern.
"yep, fit as a fiddle," I said with a smile. "Things like that are not scary for a wizard." I smiled. "anyway, wanna check out the study group we're going to be doing the cheering charm?" I smiled. "People could use some happy thoughts."
