Sol's eyebrows furrowed, his right one raising up in the air as he stared at Henlai with an unimpressed expression, "Huh? Who the hell are you?" He exclaimed in a mocking tone.
He knew exactly who Henlai was...
Sol spoke boisterously enough to make everyone nearby turn their heads to face him.
Silence fell over the Huun, quickly creating a tense atmosphere.
Sol was different now than before, that was clear to see from his ranking in the exit exam and what he said in the exam room before leaving.
Henlai's face turned furious, he stood up, getting up close in Sol's face, "What? Do you think you're a big shot now that you are the rank one in the exam? Did you forget what I've done to you in the past?"
Henlai spoke with aggression, but he spoke calmly, staring deeply into Sol's unbothered eyes.
"You really haven't done anything to me," Sol quickly retorted. For him, that was the truth. For everyone else, however, who knew of the beatings that Henlai had given him in the past, these were blasphemous words.
"But... your breath reeks." Sol blankly stated, causing everyone to pause for a moment, before suddenly breaking out into an amalgamation of laughter that quickly filled out the Huun.
'He's gone mental... I'll teach him a lesson that he won't ever forget for embarrassing me like this.' Henlai thought to himself, clenching his fist as he infused it with Ether Energy.
"That's enough, I'm bored of this conversation," Sol said at that moment, prompting a quick reply from Henlai.
"Wha--" However, before he could finish his words, Sol's punch landed directly on his face.
"Ack!" Henlai exclaimed, his nose already crushed. His eyes watered up as he felt the burning sensation travel through his brain and back out through his concaved nostrils.
The laughing crowd suddenly gasped in shock as they saw what just happened.
"What the hell!?"
"Someone, record this!"
"No way this is actually happening!"
"Hahaha! What a crazy day today has been!"
Henlai, hearing these voices, quickly threw a punch of his own at Sol.
Sol calmly stepped aside, avoiding the blow as he launched several more punches at Henlai's face and stomach.
Henlai's head whipped back with each punch to his face, and his stomach curled and clenched up.
Sol reached back one last time before punching the boy straight in the jaw, knocking him out cold.
Before the unconscious body of Henlai could fall to the ground, Sol grabbed him by his spiky red hair and threw him into the walkway of the Huun.
He then sat down on the back chair with his legs crossed and his arms stretched out to the sides, embracing the upper couch of his seat.
"Ah~" He let out a breath of relief, as everyone stared at him with awe and astonishment.
A few of Henlai's friends picked him up and put him in their seats. They tried to nurse him during the entire ride back to Hllscani, but Henlai was still blacked out by the time Sol's stop arrived.
As he stood up to leave, almost everyone's eyes followed him like he was a giant glistening gem.
When he left, even the Huun driver stared at his back with a gaped mouth.
"Oi! Let's get going, you old man! I have things to do!" A student exclaimed to the Huun driver at that moment, jerking the driver back to his duties.
As the Huun zoomed away from Sol's estate, he walked up the stairs to the mansion with his hands in his pockets and entered it.
'Getting those prizes from the exam will boost my growth rate. On top of that, I also need to retrieve that Wind Blade Spell Stone from under my bed. Attack spells, even the weakest of the weak, are fairly rare in this world.'
Sol thought about his next course of action at almost all times. This was how he lived his life in the Origin Realm as well, constantly thinking of what to do next.
He might have been ruthless and sometimes even comedic at times, but Sol was extremely smart, far beyond any mere mortal.
Sol walked along the halls of the place as if he owned it. As he made it to his room, a few maids looked at him with confusion as they whispered to themselves some womanly gossip.
"I wonder what's gotten into him..."
"Lady Cillion was quite upset when he entered, you know..."
"I heard he placed high in the exit exams or something... could it be because of that?"
As they continued to whisper to each other, Sol made his way to his room and entered it.
Reaching under his bed, he grabbed the locked box and took the small gray Spellstone the size of an orange out of it, and stared at it.
Gripping it tightly, he allowed his Ether to flow into it. After only a few seconds, the stone began to exude a light green glow.
Then, in a split second of immense pressure, the green aura from the stone absorbed into Sol's hand and zipped through his meridians, eventually arriving at his glabella.
The pressure dissipated as it melded into his glabella. Sol, who had his eyes closed, opened them again.
The stone in his hand no longer had an inscription on it. It was nothing more than a basic rock now.
Now, he had access to the Wind Blade spell. Without wasting any time, he decided to use it right now.
Raising his hand up, he simply thought to himself, 'Wind Blade.'
After a few seconds, a green aura began to develop around his palm.
Finally, wisps of air spiraled and whirled in front of his hand, eventually gathering to create a stable slash of wind in the air that was about 4 feet in width.
It shot forward with quick speed, crashing into the wall in front of Sol's hand.
With a loud bang, it tore through a solid two feet of thick stone before finally dissipating back into normal air.
'Hmm... not bad. But, I can't use more than two of those right now before my Ether Energy runs out. How pathetic.'
At that moment, a series of footsteps quickly approached his room, echoing through the halls.
*Slam*
The door flew open, as Sol's stepmother walked inside.
With a furious expression, she yelled, "What in the hell do you think you're doing!?"
Make sure to vote powerstones and add to library! A few gifts here and there don't hurt either (:
