With the way Mom keeps acting, I know that something is really wrong. I really don't understand why she was hiding things from me. I am her son, and she's supposed to tell me the truth.

After she walked into the back room, it was like I could hear what was happening in there until she turned on the water sink. I really don't want to upset Mom, but I need to find out the truth. I need to know why she was keeping all this away from me.

I walked over to the bathroom door, stood there, and knocked. I waited, but all I got was a silent reply.

"Mom, can you just come out, please?"

She didn't answer me, and I wonder what the heck I've done. I stood there for almost a minute, yet she didn't come out or reply to me. I guess whenever I talk about my dad, it always ends up this way. I wonder who my dad was that Mom really doesn't want to talk about.
