章節 16: The Shop Owner's Walk
"Hey, I remember that tomorrow is your brother's birthday."
"Why is this important to you?"
Alicia inquired warily, suspecting Su Yan was up to something.
"Are you going home tomorrow?"
"Yes."
"Then I'm gonna go with you."
"No way."
"Why not? I wanted to meet your brother. Is there anything wrong with this, SISTER… IN… LAW?"

Within a second, Alicia unleashed a burst of aura and punched Su Yan.
Despite their weak state, both of them already replenish a little mana, allowing Alicia to attack and Su Yan to protect herself against her.

Suddenly, the doctor shouts for them to cease fighting.
Alicia falls back, and Su Yan breathes a sigh of relief.

He also walks around the city's only theater and the Valencia Merchant House's main house.
After a few minutes, he appeared in front of the guild building.
However, he did not enter and instead continued on to the southern section of the city.
After a few walks, he noticed the massive fence gate of the Hollins Manor.
He considered seeing his aunt, but decided against it for the time being and continued his stroll.
There are some stores here, particularly those selling furniture and flowers.
He reached the end of the southern portion, circled around the protective wall, and arrived at the end of the city's east side.
Almost identical to the southern part, but with additional dwellings.
He returned to the guild and passed through to the western side of the city.
It had the same sensations as the southern city, but this time he noticed the back of the Hollins Manor.
Other than that, there was nothing new here, so he decided to return to the guild for a rest.

Alex Hambell has been running everyday to improve his stamina and strength.
Despite his best efforts, he only ranks slightly above average.
Anyway, he's sitting at one of the guild's tables.
Although there are many people here, due of the enchantment, this spot is quite cool in comparison to the steamy temperature outside.

A few minutes later, one of the receptionists noticed him and was ready to call the guild leader, but with a gesture, he motioned her to stop because he didn't plan on staying for long, so he stood up and exited the guild building.
There is a small park nearby, so he sits on one of the benches.
However, the parents are staring at him, wondering why there is a lonely adolescent staring at the children.
Because of the parent's misunderstanding, he decided to leave the park after feeling their hurtful gazes.
Before heading home, he decided to stop by the bakery and get a whole chocolate cake.
