As Luke read the book he got a brief explanation of the history of the world. According to it, When the rifts appeared, the invasion began and humanity was devastated, nations and empires toppled.

The world was in chaos as the world leaders vanished during the chaos. They had all moved into their underground bunkers prepared beforehand.

Their absence created a void that plunged humanity into confusion and depression. Nations shattered even before the invasion of the demonic beasts and civilization crumbled.

Aiden's village was attacked by demonic beasts and on the day of his sixteenth birthday, he watched his parents and siblings get slaughtered. He had almost lost his life that day but at a crucial moment, he awakened his ability which he used to wipe out the beasts.

Aiden began wandering the wilderness alone but then he heard that people were gathering at a certain place to create a stronghold and he began his journey to that place.
