After another close brush with death, Quinlan started to become overly cautious. With each step he took, he examined the walls, the floors, and even the ceilings. And if there were any suspicious tiles or slabs that could be a trap's trigger, he would completely avoid them, not daring to gamble.

As such, his pace dropped to a few steps every minute. It was a slow pace, but it was all for ensuring his safety. He only had one life, after all. "Though technically, this is my second life..." He retorted his own monologue.

Hours passed, and he was getting mentally tired. His vision was getting blurry as his body was getting cold.

"Wait, cold?"

He was walking on a flat plane, so it was weird that the temperature only changed now. "Something's ahead, for sure!"

Whether or not it could help him get out of this place was for him to discover later on.
