It took some few days for Ehuang's case to turn up at the court but when it finally did, her parents were brought into the court by Xiyang, who ordered them to walk forward.
Jia was sitting on one of the front benches and the parents immediately glared at her as if they faced grave injustice. Mrs. Yu's face even looked haggard and tired.
Other people, who were present at the court to watch the proceedings, hushed in whispers as they saw Mingshen coming in. His hands were in his pockets as he was casually taking a look at the court.
"Hmm, I thought so. The court's air doesn't suit me. It feels nasty breathing in here."
Bojing, who accompanied him, gasped in terror. He whispered urgently. "Boss! W-We are in the court. Don't say th-things that will o-offend anybody here," he cried.
"And since when do I care about offending anybody?"
They sat on the very last bench at the corner. Jia looked back because of the whispers and glanced at him.
