Staring blankly at the guard, Nicholas' brows furrowed. Doubt was evident on his face. He couldn't think of anyone who might come to visit him.

Aside from the traitorous Mr. Tang and Mr. Duan, no one had visited Nicholas and Daniel after their arrest. Everyone acted as if they didn't exist.

"Hey, come on," the guard shook the bars, "Get your ass up. I don't have all day to wait for you."

Warily, Nicholas approached the cell door. It was better if he didn't upset any of these prison guards.

"...who?" asked Nicholas, his voice a low murmur.

"See it for yourself," replied the guard monotonously, his expression remaining stoic.

Nicholas watched the guard unlock the cell door, pulling it open, the movement producing a screeching sound. The guard ordered him to step out with a tilt of his chin.
