Aryan's revelation about Jaraasandh's vulnerability left the imprisoned king visibly shaken. He had been overconfident in his abilities, and now his secret was exposed.
Naturally, the reason why Aryan knew Jaraasandh's weakness is because he had read it in Mahabharat in his previous life.
Jarasandha's father was Magadha's King, Brihadratha. And he had two queens. Both of them wanted to have a child. Unfortunately, a lot of time passed and they grew old, but they still had no children, leaving them distressed.
Then one day, he heard that Dage Chandakaushik had come to his kingdom and he was sitting under a mango tree, meditating.
He had heard a lot about the power of Sage Chandakaushik. That's why, upon hearing this news, Rajan became hopeful and went to meet the sage.
Reaching the sage, he narrated his sorrow to the sage, in hope that he might have a solution. And upon hearing the king's story, the sage felt pity for him and after some chanting, gave a mango to the king.
He asked him to feed the magical mango blessed by his powers to his queen.
The king thanked the sage and returned home happily. But since he had two wives and he loved both of them equally, therefore, he cut that mango into equal pieces and fed it to both his queens.
Due to this, both the queens became pregnant. This made the king happy beyond belief.
But then the tragedy happened. Both of the queens gave birth to only half sons each. Out of fear, he threw those two pieces in the forest.
Just then, a demon named Jara was passing by. He looked at those two pieces of meat and took the right piece in his right hand and the left piece in his left hand, thereby joining the two pieces, creating a miracle.
The baby actually came back to life.
And when the demon Jara handed the baby back to King Brihadratha, milk came out from the breasts of both the queens in the royal palace. That is why his name became Jarasandha.
And the secret to Jaraasandh's death is also hidden in the miraculous story of his birth.
To kill him, one had to do the opposite of what the demon Jara did back then.
You have to tear apart Jaraasandh into two equal halves and throw right half in left direction and the left half in right direction. Otherwise he can never be killed, no matter what you do.
And seeing Aryan's hint, Jaraasandh naturally understood that the other party knew his secret and could really kill him, shaking his overconfidence. But then he became even more confused.
"You.... How.... And why? "
Jaraasandh's voice trembled as he asked how Aryan knew this and why he hadn't killed him yet.
Aryan, maintaining his composed demeanor, replied, "You see, Jaraasandh, I don't need your life. It has no value to me. But on the contrary, what I need can be fulfilled by you."
Confusion and concern mixed in Jaraasandh's expression.
"What do you mean? What do you want from me?"
Aryan approached him with a calm but intense gaze and looked him straight in his eyes.
"I want half of the Magadh and the Anga kingdom that was gifted to you by Paundraka. Also, all the 86 kings of various small kingdoms that you have captured will be released and their territories will also be taken over by Udra kingdom. You do that and your life will be spared."
Jaraasandh hesitated for a moment, weighing his options.
Then, realizing the gravity of his situation, he reluctantly nodded. "Very well, Aryan, I agree. "
Jaraasandh, knowing that his secret was out and the consequences of defying Aryan's demands, agreed to his terms with a reluctant nod.
While the 86 kingdoms seemed like a lot but actually they were just small kingdoms. And the combined territory of these kingdoms is even smaller than half of the Magadh's territory that Aryan just won over. It was more of a matter of ego.
As a matter of fact, Aryan also knew that after leaving here today, Jaraasandh would definitely strike back at him once given the chance.
However, he simply didn't care.
Since he can defeat him now, then he can also defeat him later on.
More importantly, for now, keeping Jaraasandh alive was more beneficial for Aryan than killing him.
With the agreement reached, Aryan gestured for Karna and his guards to untie Jaraasandh and escort him back to Magadh's territory.
He also asked Karna to send a team of delegates to Yavana kingdom to discuss an alliance with them after Kalyavan's death.
Afterwards, Aryan stayed here for one more week and oversaw the process as Udra kingdom took over half of the Magadh kingdom.
This news sent a massive earthquake in the politics of every kingdom.
Udra, a medium sized kingdom who couldn't even support one Akshauhini Sena some time ago, but now all of a sudden it has become one of the biggest kingdoms in Aryavrat / Bharat.
During the week that Aryan remained in Magadh to oversee the process, he continued to recover from his injuries, leaving only minor wounds.
Subsequently Aryan returned to Kalinga to bring Bhanumati back to Udra as its new queen, solidifying his rule and marking a time of celebration in the kingdom.
The people of Udra rejoiced, their spirits lifted by the series of positive developments under Aryan's leadership.

Meanwhile back in Hastinapur, after Yudhishthir became the crown prince, he undertook a series of reforms which benefitted the general populace and increased his reputation as a suitable crown prince.
But amidst this joyous atmosphere, Duryodhan, who had been staying silent this entire time, even when Yudhishthir was appointed the crown prince, finally decided to make his move under Shakuni's guidance.
He had just been waiting for the right time and it had finally arrived.
Hastinapur's Royal Palace, Shakuni's room.
"Duryodhan my nephew, the time has come. I just received news from Varnavrat that Purochan has finished the construction of Lakshyagriha."
Shakuni said cunningly.
"Instead of using bricks and mud to make it, he has used Laksha (lacquer), hemp, resin, ghee, wood and other highly flammable material as the raw material."
"Now all we have to do is to lure the Pandavas to Varnavrat and make them stay in the Lakshyagriha. Then, while the Pandavs are sleeping in a deep sleep, Purochan will silently light the house to fire, making it their grave and thus getting rid of the Pandavs once and for all. Hahaha"
"Brilliant, uncle Shakuni, brilliant. Your plan is simply amazing. We can get rid of the Pandavs without raising any suspicions. "
Sushasan said happily as he marvelled at Shakuni's cunningness.
But Duryodhan still felt a little unconvinced and raised his doubts.
"I have a question Uncle Shakuni. The plan is good and all but why would the Pandavs leave the luxury of Royal Palace and go to Varnavrat to live in this Lakshyagriha? Not to mention that Yudhishthir has just been appointed as a crown prince and he needs to stay here to handle a lot of responsibilities. "
Shakuni nodded in appreciation.
"Good question my nephew. But fear not, because your uncle has already made a perfect plan. "
