章節 44: Denouement

Third Person PoV

Kojou groaned as a gorilla type familiar attacked him, with one good icicle ance from his twelfth it was done for.

The lance moved forward and also pierced the mask of its owner.

"Does destroying the mask kill them permanently?"

Kojou by now had figured out that the massed intruders were coming continuously even after their death, as if they can resurrect infinitely but now he was beginning to believe that it was the mask making them unkillable.

'Well what's one more try?'

With that Kojou began focusing on the mask's and indeed the fight became too easy, Kojou was able to one shot them now.

"Glory to Order The End!"

And the gorilla attacked Kojou again. It was easily dispatched but now Kojou was confused.

Around fifteen minutes have passed since he has begun fighting these white robed guys.

And he now had a solid theory as to how they were working.

"Order The End? That is your name? Well corny to say the least."

Kojou said but his mind finally understood the mechanics behind their resurrection and transport.

Kojou looked around and saw the rainbow trying to get bigger, it was heavily hindered as it was not something that was supposed to be here, but it was steadily growing larger.

Another fifteen minutes and the others would have to fight and the battlefield would be the entire island, not just this subfloat.

Kojou had noticed that when he broke their masks they disappeared in a black smoke and then came back from the rainbow sky, but when he killed them directly, their bodies remained here and then they came back to life.

Seeing these observations and making some bold jumps in logic, Kojou attempted to find a solution to this ongoing impromptu war between the two worlds.

'It would seem like the destruction of their masks sends them back to their world and simply killing them leaves them able to revive. Now if the prison barrier was still up then once they were sent back to their world the barrier would stop them from coming back but now that there is no prison barrier to stop them, there is no effective way to stop them, or is there?'

Kojou mused to himself, and cooked up a hypothesis.

'Let's say I froze the barrier aka the gate to such a degree that even time was frozen and then send them back by destroying all of their masks, and then make Al-Meissa Mercury eat the gate up, or even better send it to another dimension using Thirdz. Yes, that would work.'

Readying himself to execute his plan but Kojou was halted by another question that popped.

'Wait a minute, what will happen to that dimension? Not that I care but is this really a foolproof method? Meh, I will think of that in the future, maybe Natsuki-chan will figure out a way or Asagi, given time that is. Let's end this. Too much shit has happened in a short period. I need my beauty sleep.'

"Come, Mesarthim-Adamas, Natra-Cinereus, Regulus-Aurum, Kiffa-Ater, Al-Nasl-Minium, Sadalmelik-Albus!"

Kojou invoked six of his familiars at once, and once again felt strain on his body, this was a sound reminder of the fact that he still wasn't the complete 4th Primogenitor.

But preserved as in one fell swoop every single Order The End member's mask and body was destroyed at once, making the sky feel empty.

The view was breathtaking and Kojou would have enjoyed it, but he was on a time limit so he worked fast.

"Pisces Dodekatos!"

And the world froze, the waves, the wind, the clouds, the subfloat, the dust particles, the space and the time all were frozen.

The entire subfloat from Kojou's leg was frozen in ice, and that extended till the floating remains of the prison barrier and moved even past it, making the ocean water an ice lake.

Kojou looked at the door and saw that it was also frozen, and so was the rainbow sky.

His hair was pale blue and so were his eyes. He waited for a few minutes and as he became sure that his first step was successful he executed the next step.

"Gemini Tritos!"

His hair gradually changed and became purple, his eyes soon followed suit and Kojou waved his hand.

Like a magic trick as his hand moved past the prison barrier or what remained of it, the mysterious otherworldly gate vanished with it.

So did the rainbow sky, leaving a clear sky with no clouds, no wind blew. The water was not visible and it was rushing back quite fast.

Although not on the level of a Tsunami, this was a very scary thing, he had single handedly reduced the total amount of water in the world, which was said to be constant since the creation of earth, almost four and a half billion years ago.

Kojou's hair gradually returned to his normal silver color and his eyes to his sky blue color.

He gazed at the horizon and felt the breeze hit his face, finally the vaccum created by him was being replaced.

He knew that someday when the ice melted the Order members would come back, but by then, he would be strong enough to permanently kill them.

He didn't want to use the full power of the Eleventh Familiar, it was very new and its powers honestly scared him.

'I am going to take great care in how, where and on whom I use it.'

Kojou said before vanishing in mist and reappearing near Asagi, his jacket back on his body.

"What Was That?"

Yuuma said in pure astonishment, the others were equally stumped, Yuuma had the wits to ask, while Asagi had an idea that he could do this.

"That, Yuuma, is what happens when I use my familiars to their full potential."

Kojou said and moved towards Natsuki-chan and looked into her eyes, and the mist surrounding her was dispersed.

"Hmph, got what you wanted, Akatsuki?"

She said huffingly. Kojou didn't let it affect him and said.

"Not yet, just one thing left."

"What is it, get it on quickly."

"Well as you wanted."

Kojou said and lifted her by her arms, making her squeal but soon his true intentions were revealed.

As slowly Natsuki-chan grew, her body began to reach her true age, that is mid-twenties.

Kojou was using Sadalmelik-Albus, as Natsuki-chan's true form if she wasn't stuck in the prison barrier would be a mature woman of twenty six years of age.

Her clothes were torn apart, and she became naked and continued growing and soon stopped after reaching 175 centimetres.

Her head safely tucked under Kojou's chin, her now E cup boobs pressed into Kojou, her body naked shivering under the cold wind.

"Wh-What?!"

Natsuki-chan said in shock, she slowly moved away from Kojou, her hands covering her important parts but before she could do anything.

Kojou's jacket was on her, Kojou had covered it with ease. A soft look in his eyes.

"Now I can't call you Natsuki-chan, Natsuki-chan."

The teacher was stunned and wasn't able to say anything except the words she most often said to Kojou.

"Don't address your teacher by 'chan'. Baka Akatsuki!"

The day finally passed with everyone retiring, Kojou went to his home with Asagi and Nagisa.

Sayaka went to Yukina's home to sleep after helping La Folia board the flight, Aldegyr was almost ready to make political pressure on Japan if she didn't return within the next 6 hours.

Natsuki-chan went with Kanon, Astarte and the new addition Nina Adelard, for today as Yukina was having Sayaka stay for the night.

While Yuuma and Aya were handed over to the island management for questioning, Kojou would get them tomorrow.

"Kojou, you really went all out today, even aging Natsuki-chan."

"Yeah, she was one of the people who didn't treat me differently even after knowing about me. She can still use an illusion to appear like a child to normal people, she also has a life now."

"Yeah, due to that everyone is scared shirtless of you, what were you doing acting like a savage."

"About that Asagi, that wasn't me or my vampire instincts."

"What do you mean?"

"Well most of the time, when I go all out I am still in control, I am the one moving my body, yes I do that on my instincts but it is still me, just more raw. But that wasn't me. If La Folia hadn't called me out, I probably would have kept fighting like that."

"Then what was that? Do you suddenly have a split personality?"

"No, it was like I was drowning, in blood. I can't really explain it but still it was scary, I almost threw up when I got control back."

Asagi pulled him closer to her and patted his head, the two fell asleep on their bed.

Yuuma and Aya were lying on their respective beds, they were given one single room with two beds.

Neither of them were able to sleep peacefully, both of their thoughts plagued by a silver haired vampire.

"Mother, am I really nothing but a doll for you?"

For a while no answer came but just as Yuuma was about to lose hope, Aya answered.

"Does that matter? We both are now servants for the 4th Primogenitor, even if I wanted to improve our broken relationships, it isn't in our hands, it's in his."

"Mother, Kojou isn't like that!"

"Didn't you see him? He killed ruthlessly, not to mention even when Natsuki asked him to leave her alone he didn't, he did what he wanted, and Natsuki was quite close to him."

"But he did it for her good!"

"You will learn with time my daughter, that someone doesn't always want their own good."

Aya turned around and went silent, leaving Yuuma to ponder on her mother's words.

La Folia looked at the vast expanse of water below her, she was sitting near the window of her plane.

Her mind was thinking multiple things at once.

How to handle her father? What to tell her mother? How can she uphold the promise she made to Kojou? Will Kanon really be fine in Itogami Island?

But all she could do was think about these, many people envy her for being a princess but to her it isn't that good.

She can go anywhere alone, even with bodyguards she rarely goes out of Aldegyr.

After so much pleading she was able to convince her family to let her come to Itogami island, but now that such things had happened, her chances of coming here alone were abysmal.

'I wonder, if I asked you to come and take me from my place would you, Kojou?'

A princess silently made a plea, in the dark of the night, above the endless ocean, reflecting the moonlight.

Kanon was sleeping while holding Nina Adelard in her arms, she was using the great alchemist as a pillow, a very small pillow.

But currently Kanon was shivering and sweating a lot. She was having a very lucid nightmare.

She was watching Kojou kill innocent people with a smile on his face. Kanon, who is rather innocent, is really scared of Kojou going evil.

But all of a sudden her dream breaks and she falls into a deep sleep.

"Yare-Yare, who knew that the 4th Primogenitor would be such a playboy, even her nightmares are centered around him."

Nina only sighed and tried to sleep, she was not used to being in a thirty centimetres tall body and used as a pillow after all.

Yukina was turning around in her bed, she wasn't able to sleep. Finally she made up her mind and got out of her bed and walked towards the kitchen.

She drank a glass of water and thought about today's event, but she was unable to come up with an answer to her dilemma.

She peeked in the other room to find Sayaka sleeping peacefully with no nightmares or a bad expression on her face.

Yukina even saw her smile a little. She ignored it as a result of her being tired. She went back to her bed and laid down hoping to catch up on some sleep.

Yukina soon found herself drifting away to the realm of morpheus. Sayaka on the other hand was dreaming of a certain moment.

"You don't need to always be the one protecting Kirasaka. I will protect you."
