As the two hurried out, a light rain was pouring outside, with grey clouds blanketing the sky.
"Why is it suddenly raining?" Jiang Yuzhu looked up at the sky with one hand covering her head.
Her view was soon blocked by a black umbrella.
Pei Jingchuan, holding an umbrella, stood next to her: "Don't you like rainy days?"
As the two walked slowly forward, Jiang Yuzhu spoke: "It's not that I don't like it, but this kind of weather makes my clothes wet, and the dampness makes me feel uncomfortable."
Pei Jingchuan chuckled: "I didn't like rainy days, but now I do."
"Huh?"
He leaned in slightly, close to Jiang Yuzhu, whispering: "Because I can get closer to you this way."
She didn't expect him to say such a thing and stepped aside purposefully: "Where did you learn such cheesy flirting lines? They are just too much."
Despite what she said, her face turned a little pink and she quickened her pace.
