By the time the Grandmaster reached Chi Cheng and Han Qirong's location, the sleeves of his robes were tattered from Xuan Hu's tantrums and struggles. His already wild and curly black hair was further disheveled with strands curving out of their usual path.

Chi Cheng resisted the urge to burst into a loud fit of laughter upon seeing Han Xuelian. He sucked his lips inwards to restrain the small chuckle that escaped him.

Han Xuelian grumbled, displeased with the bratty defiance of the little fox whose fangs were latched onto his arm the entire time they rode.

He dismounted, holding the creature at arms length as he sauntered towards Chi Cheng. With his gaze darkening, he held out the Xuan Hu to him.

"Your bratty pet," the Grandmaster remarked, attempting to shake off the little fox's fangs. "He has no sense of discipline whatsoever."
