Chi Cheng cast a severe look in his father's direction.

The former Celestial Beast had grown weary  of his constant deceptions to his family and those he held dear. He knew it was futile to continue this ongoing charade and it was better now that he confess to his younger brother rather than Chi Weiran discovering through some other means.

"Are you sure?" Feng Renxing composed himself again, understanding the depths of his eldest son's intentions. "I can just erase his memory…"

Chi Cheng shook his head and then turned to face Chi Weiran who regarded him with a questioning gaze

"Show him everything, Father…then I will save him," Chi Cheng remarked with grave promise.
