"Yuki..."
Embracing him tenderly, tears streamed down Yuno's eyes; attacking her beloved hurt more than she thought. If possible, she wanted to stay in this position with Yuki forever. However, they had no other choice; Yuki would disappear if they didn't do something. Nothing comes free in the world – if you want something, you have to fight for your goal.
"This is for the best; I trust you'll take care of him..."
Sighing, Tsubaki looked towards the duo simultaneously as a light flashed.
"I am the sword of the master; I won't let anyone harm him."
"Tsk..."
Seeing Est materialize, Yuno clicked her tongue. That thieving cat had an enviable position. Unfortunately, there was nothing she could do, at least not for now.
"Rasiel..."
Murmuring, a book appeared in Est's hand, and simultaneously, a map with a red dot appeared on one of its pages.
"The person you're looking for is in these locations."
If Yuki saw this, he would be surprised. Est was using Rasiel, an angel that belonged to Yuki. However, now, Rasiel was obeying Est. Due to the Demon King's interference, Rasiel shared its spiritual space with Est. In other words, Est was making use of an angel that lost its home and now resided in her space.
"This is yours."
As both girls looked at the map, a scroll materialized in Est's hand, which she then threw to Tsubaki.
"My diary..."
Eyes widening in shock, Tsubaki couldn't believe it. Yuki had asked for her diary as a sign of trust in their alliance, but now Est had returned it. This made her hesitate, and not just her – Yuno also furrowed her brow. After all, with Yuki holding the diary, Tsubaki still had to think twice about betraying them. But now...
"Defeat the enemy, or the consequences will be catastrophic. Good luck to you."
With those final words, Est returned to the spiritual world. Tsubaki and Yuno touched the hilts of their katanas.
"Well, with my diary back, our chances of victory have increased. We'll need all the help we can get. And I know where to find them."
Without wasting time, Tsubaki used her diary, and several entries were recorded.
"Help?"
Raising an eyebrow, Yuno stared at the extended scroll.
"That's right, Gasai-san. Haven't you forgotten? Now we can use my army. I think it's time to see those little birds again."
Smirking maliciously, Tsubaki licked her lips. A smile formed on Yuno's face; things were getting interesting.

"Fourth has also died, huh?"
"This doesn't look good, Marco."
At the same time, somewhere in Sakurami City, two people conversed with complicated expressions on their faces.
"Darn it! First Mom, now Fourth, Ninth!! If only I were there with Mom that day!"
Gritting his teeth, a 25-year-old man with a peculiar quiff hairstyle cursed.
This man is Marco Ikusaba, Seventh in this Survival Game.
"It's not your fault, Marco. Deus entered the second phase; none of us knew this would happen."
Responding to his words, a beautiful woman with purple hair and blue eyes embraced him tenderly, consoling him for his pain.
This woman is Ai Mikami, Marco's girlfriend and also Seventh in this Survival Game.
Indeed, both Marco and Ai share the Exchange Diary, a diary operated by two separate cellphones. This unique diary allows them to see each other's future to save each other. Thus, they are both Seventh.
They are an anomaly in this Survival Game and had the highest probability of winning due to having the power of Time and Space separately. Whether it was a system error or Deus's intention, both are Tectonic Mediums.
However, due to certain circumstances, they didn't participate in the initial confrontations, losing their advantage in the early hours of the game's second phase.
This was also their biggest mistake. Growing up in Mama's orphanage, they fell in love over the years. Octave, the owner of the orphanage and Eighth in the game, was a special person in their lives.
However, on the day the second phase began, they were outside the city on a romantic date. They were absent when Ninth killed Eighth, and their diaries were useless in predicting a future that didn't involve them. They only learned about the attack on the orphanage later, returning to a ruined city where Eleventh and Twelfth had also died, and Eighth had suffered the same fate.
This angered the couple. They wanted revenge; the orphanage, the children, everyone vanished – thousands of deaths in the city.
The culprits had to pay, especially Minene and Yuno.
However, things were not as they seemed. Yuno possessed the Key, a formidable entity. She also allied with Sixth, making them a formidable duo.
This completely nullified their numerical advantage.
So, they should kill Ninth. Unfortunately, Minene proved to be more troublesome than they thought, and being novices with their powers, they couldn't defeat Minene in a direct confrontation. Thus, they chose to remain in the shadows, hoping that both Yuno and Minene would die together.
Unfortunately, Yuno turned out to be another monster capable of facing Minene equally.
With Fourth dead, their fate was sealed. Now they not only had to watch out for Minene but also for Yuno and Tsubaki.
If they had been a bit smarter, the three, along with Eighth, would have been a strong team, and the outcome would have been different.
But there's no cure for regret. Now all they could do is hide and wait for time to run out. The power they possess is not comparable to Minene's, nor is it a match for Yuno and Tsubaki's alliance.
"It's alright, Ai. I promise that no matter what happens, I'll protect you. I won't fail you again."
Recalling the past, Marco clenched his fist. Ai had suffered too much, both due to her family and his negligence.
"The same goes for me, Marco. We're a couple after all."
Ai knew what he meant, and the same applied to her – Marco is all she needs and the most important person in her life.
After expressing their intentions, they held hands and kissed passionately...
*Shiiiiiii
Unfortunately, their romantic moment was interrupted by the sound of their diaries...

[DEAD END]
Fate doesn't smile at anyone...

Tokyo, Japan, Military Base
"Everything is ready, Kasugano-sama. We await orders."
"Well done, Colonel. We have very little time. Have everyone destroy the enemy."
"Yes, Kasugano-sama!"
Humans with the power of Tectonic Mediums may no longer exist, but there are still weapons capable of harming them. Tsubaki and Yuno experienced this firsthand.
So, upon obtaining her diary, Tsubaki immediately contacted the military. They needed sufficient firepower and weaponry to obliterate the participants.
"They won't last, no matter how many of them show up."
Yuno, dressed in her Anbu battle suit with a katana at her side, shook her head. No matter how strong the army, they couldn't kill a Tectonic Medium. Not even nuclear bombs would be enough.
"The goal isn't to kill them, Gasai-san. Their only purpose is to distract them. As long as they can do that, it's enough for us."
Tsubaki wasn't concerned. As long as the army fulfilled its purpose, it was sufficient. As they say, even an ant serves a purpose in the world.
