She remained silent, thinking that perhaps he wasn't interested in pursuing her anymore and might be communicating with Clara or another girl.

"Valerie..." Elena stood up, leaving Daniel to play alone. "I think we need to talk..."

Valerie remained silent, walking straight to the living room and sitting on the sofa, her face folded in, unable to hide her disappointment.

"I don't want to meddle in your relationships," Elena said, sitting next to Valerie. "But please, try not to argue all the time... You're adults now, you even have a baby...
