After Jin Wei cleared his identity to Kaiya, he explained to her how after merging both the ancient Vampire and Dragon bloodline in his body, his whole being changed completely, even his soul had transformed making him a completely new being. Which is why Kaiya couldn't tell if he was really Jin Wei or not. 

Kaiya listened closely, her eyes wide with a mix of awe and worry.

Kaiya stepped closer, her hand trembling as she touched his cheek. 

"I can't believe it's really you," she whispered, her voice shaking with emotion. Jin Wei nodded and smiled, pulling her into a tight hug once again. They hugged for some time, finding comfort in being close and in the bond that had grown stronger between them.

Feeling confident, they strolled deeper into the thick forest, stepping over dry leaves and twigs underfoot. The air smelled earthy, like moss and old wood. Distant roars echoed through the trees, mixing with the rustling of leaves in the breeze.
