The moment Tang Shi Yi entered through the door, Tang Xiao ran over to her side and hugged her thigh. The little girl's attack was too sudden and it caught Tang Shi Yi off guard.

Seeing the look on her daughter's face softened her heart.

"Mommy, why did you only come home now?" Tang Xiao looked at her mother unhappily. "I woke up but you were not by my side."

Tang Shi Yi crouched down to get to her daughter's level. She spread her arms and hugged her daughter tight. "Sorry. Xiao Xiao, did I make you worry?"

The little girl pouted, showing his mother that he was unhappy. 

Usually, her mother would call to tell them that she would be coming home later. Moreover, no matter how late her mother would be, she would always find her mother when she woke up.

This morning, she saw both her grandmother's and brother's worried faces the moment she walked out of the room.
