"What are you doing in here, Clara?" Elara asked, though her tone was more amused than scolding.

"I wanted to help Aaliyah cook!" Clara exclaimed, spinning toward her sister. "She's the best! And you said I should learn how to do things myself."

Elara raised an eyebrow, her smile widening. "I meant learning to dress yourself or tidy your room, not handling fire and knives in the kitchen."
