When he was done making four loaves of something that could pass for bread his chest swelled with pride at the effort he put in to do the work. 

To Maxixe it didn't matter that they were flat and burned on the corners. 

Well he had wanted to bread to have a round shape and instead it turned into a wobbly shaped square.

The corners of the square was so tough it felt like it could be cut when it brushed against his skin but in the center of the bread was just right.

So what if bread wasn't supposed to have sharp corners that could be used as a weapon. 

Maxixe was proud of his hard work and perspiration that went into it since he clearly made it and it was edible, Kaoma better eat it or else. 

Certainly, it didn't matter a bit that two out of the four loaves reminded him of black tar.
