When Maxixe finally made it to the bedchamber the room was already pitch black.
Since Kaoma had already snuffed out the lights determined to be fast asleep when he arrived.
The moonlight shone brightly through the window and illuminated Kaoma's pale blonde hair.
How could one measly human woman be so breathtakingly beautiful even in pretend sleep.
She did not fool him one bit, he knew her breathing when she slept and Kaoma was hugging the pillow too tightly giving herself away.
"I know you're not sleeping," said Prince Maxixe.
No answer.
So he went and drew the cover sheet from off her, just then a light breeze came in to assist him in a timely manner and Kaoma shivered.
She did not look hungry in the slightest, someone had fed her.
Maxixe didn't get angry instead he felt relieved that someone assisted her even though it was in direct disobedience of his command he would deal with that person later.
