章節 26: Chapter : 26 Discussions!

After giving food to Vali, Emma walked towards her room. As she entered, she saw Azazel there as if he was waiting for her.

"Did he eat the food?" Azazel asked.

"Yes, he took the food. But you should have at least told me that you were bringing him here. I could have made something better to eat," Emma said, slightly angry.

She already knew about Vali when Azazel informed her that he found a half-human and half-devil kid unconscious in the Underworld forest few days ago and had kept him in his Grigori base. Azazel examined him and found out he had lots of wounds on his body, as if he was tortured. It was actually Emma who suggested to Azazel to bring him home, but Azazel brought Vali home without informing her.

"Well, it was a surprise for a reason," Azazel replied.

"Since I did a good job, how about we practice sleeping together?" Azazel said, a perverted smile on his face as he started to rub his hand.

"No thank you. Go back to your room and let me sleep. I have lots of work to do tomorrow," Emma said, pushing Azazel out of the room and closing the door.

As Emma was ready to sleep, there was a knock on the door. "What is it now?" Emma asked, sighing, as she opened the door.

"Well, I was thinking of taking Dylan and Vali with me to the Grigori for some training," Azazel said.

"That's a good idea. Should I also come along?" Emma said happily, as she also wanted to join in.

"But didn't you say you have lots of work tomorrow? How can you come?" Azazel teased her, throwing her own words back at her.

Underworld

Gremory Castle

Zeoticus, Sirzechs and his knight Souji were sitting in the hall, relieved that Gremory Hierress Rias Gremory, was safe and healthy without serious wounds.

When they got news of the attack on Rias's school by the old Satan faction, they rushed there immediately. Sirzechs even came and took down many of the devil terrorists, while some managed to escape.

After the battle, they found Rias injured and unconscious. They quickly brought her back to Gremory castle and called the best healers and doctors to heal her, but thankfully she had no serious injuries, just unconsciousness.

"Sirzechs, find out who's behind this attack. We can't let them get away with it. They need to pay," Zeoticus said, his anger evident. He couldn't bear the thought of someone harming his daughter.

"Don't worry, father, the investigation has already begun. We'll soon find out who the real culprit is," Sirzechs reassured.

"By the way, Souji, did you find out who that kid was that saved Rias?" Zeoticus inquired of Sirzechs' knight about the mysterious kid who saved Rias.

When Rias woke up after being treated, she recounted everything: how a white-haired boy defeated every bad guy and saved her. His bravery and mysterious identity intrigued her all family.

"No, Lord Zeoticus. Actually, from what I gathered, that kid was brought inside the school by a teacher who mistook him for a student bunking classes. So, he's not a student at the school," Souji replied.

"He's not a student? Then have you been able to locate where he lives or who his parents are?" Zeoticus was curious about the child, especially considering the power he displayed.

"Lord Zeoticus, that's what I couldn't find. There's no information about him in the underworld. I even checked the underworld's data, but there's nothing. It's as if he doesn't belong to the underworld," Souji replied, creating an atmosphere of secrecy.

"If there's no information about him, that simply means he's not from the underworld. He could be a human with a sacred gear," Sirzechs chimed in.

"Master, I don't know about sacred gear, but he was definitely a devil since the teacher herself said he was a devil," Souji replied.

"Well, devils have keen senses to recognize their own kind. If the teacher said that, he could be a devil and half-human with a sacred gear, since the power he used didn't feel like demonic energy," Zeoticus added, presenting his theory as he had watched the kid power with his own eyes coverings the sky with Blue swirling energy but he was quite late to meet that kid as he had already vanished but everyone who were around the school saw that ethereal view in the sky

"Souji, try to look in the human world. See if you can find anything," Sirzechs ordered, as they sought more information about the mysterious child.

As the three of them finished their conversation, they went to their own rooms.

Sirzechs walked down the corridor until he reached his room. Upon entering, he saw Millicas sleeping peacefully in bed, while Grayfia sat by the windows, gazing at the moon.

As the door clicked shut, Grayfia turned around. "Did you find out who that kid was?" she asked, her concern evident as she immediately inquired about the mysterious child who saved Rias.

"Grayfia, I know what you're thinking, but he's not our child. He's already dead, and you know that," Sirzechs replied, trying to quell any hope she might harbor.

"But his looks are exactly the same. Couldn't it be possible that he's alive?" Grayfia's voice trembled, a hint of tears visible in her eyes.

Sirzechs gently pulled Grayfia into his arms. "He's dead. Forget about him. There are many kids with white hair," Sirzechs said, attempting to reassure her while suppressing her emotions.

Meanwhile in Rias room

Rias lay on her bed, propped up by her hand, deep in thought and absentmindedly shaking her legs.

"What's on your mind, my daughter?" Venelana inquired, observing Rias lost in contemplation.

"Nothing," Rias replied, avoiding eye contact with her mother.

"Are you perhaps thinking about that white haired boy?" Venelana teased, a slight smile playing on her lips.

" What? No, why would I think about him?" Rias retorted, finally looking at her mother.

"Oh, my, look at that reaction. Could it be that my daughter has fallen in love?" Venelana continued to tease.

"No, he just helped me. It doesn't mean I'll love him; he was rude and even insulted me," Rias insisted, expressing her displeasure.

"He insulted you? How?" Venelana asked, surprised and curious.

"He called me a pufferfish," Rias replied, puffing her cheeks to demonstrate her irritation.

"Heheee," Venelana laughed, further annoying Rias.

While Venelana continued to tease Rias, Zeoticus found himself in a dimly lit chamber engaged in conversation.

"Even though Souji is discovering more about that child, you should also gather information about him. A child of Rias' age displaying the power of an Ultimate class devil is likely to grow even stronger in the future. It would be beneficial to establish a connection with him. It could be advantageous if he were to join Rias' peerage or Millicas'," Zeoticus advised.

"Don't worry, Master. We will do our best," the figure assured before leaving Zeoticus alone.

"A white-haired kid... My unnamed grandson could also been of the same age as that mysterious kid. Could they be the same person? What am I even thinking? He is dead, and Rias mentioned he had blue eyes. Besides, he was considered trash from birth. Even though we care for the weak, that doesn't mean it applies to my own family. It was the right decision to throw him out of the family," Zeoticus murmured to himself, lost in thought.

To be continued...
