Merwyn turned back and squinted at her, before bursting into delighted giggles.

"Wifey's funny face!!" He grabbed her face between his hands, squishing her cheeks. "There there. We'll start with one."

He tilted his head.

She was utterly helpless as he dragged her in a random direction. "It's all so strange...none of it looks like things I recognize from Earth..."

Merwyn rolled his eyes. "That's because it's not, Wifey."

But despite this being a different world from Earth, a lot of things like food were either the same, similar, or recognizable in some way!

"...Yeah but...!"

Merwyn blinked.

He held up a finger and hushed her. "Let's look around first~"

He led her around to a vendor who sold food in skewers.

It smelled quite tasty.

If she trusted Merwyn enough to go along with his whimsy when it came to food.
