I jumped with fright when I saw Noah leaning casually against the wall, his face was blank and his eyes closed. "Noah?" I called out coming closer to him "Are you alright? What are you doing out here?"

My heart was pounding in my chest as his eyes fluttered slowly. I searched his eyes wondering how long he's been here for and if he had listened to my conversation with Janet. If he had then it would be a problem because I had sounded like I knew what was going on and I like it. I tried to remember everything I said, hoping I didn't reveal anything of my intentions.

I watched as he sighed softly and pushed away from the wall "Are you done with Janet?" he asked quietly, staring at the wristwatch strapped around his left wrist. "That took longer than I had anticipated," he murmured and looked up to me for a response.
