His gaze lingered on the sign that read Surgery in Progress. It was hard to believe how quickly things had changed.

Just a while ago, Xu Jingli had been in the same hospital, accompanying Chen Mumu on the day her mother underwent surgery. He had never imagined that he would one day be waiting for Chen Mumu herself to come out of surgery.
