Snape after checking the corpse of the Troll went to Dumbledore's office.
He wanted to inform him about what happened here and about Orion.
Previously, he did talk to Dumbledore about both Nick and Orion.
Things like Orion has a talent for potion-making.
Snape at first is suspicious about Orion and uses legiliment on Orion to see his memories.
Although he didn't find anything on Orion, he ended up finding problems with one of his own Slytherin. Nick Iron.
That 11-year-old kid has Occulumency shields. Powerful enough shields to stop his mental attack. From that day onwards he started to observe Nick much more than Orion.
He notices that Nick is much better in Potions than he has any right to be, considering that he is a muggle-born.
And now this, Orion ended up killing a troll. This should have triggered a reaction from him. Made him suspicious about that boy.
But in fact totally opposite happened. After watching Orion's memories again, he saw how Orion was bullied by his own godson, Draco.
He knows about getting bullied. He has suffered the same fate before.
Orion doesn't even have enough magic in his blood to do a simple Lumos, Snape couldn't help but sneer a little at this. He sneered thinking how that child wanted to beat his godson.
But then there was this Troll incident. He really killed that Troll. Now he really was not sure how to feel about the boy.
A weak child with that kind of determination could be much more dangerous sometimes than a powerful individual.
But he knew this much that Orion D. Ambrosius was not a threat.
"I have something to show you," Snape said right after entering into Dumbledore's office.
What followed was Snape explaining what happened with the Troll. How he suspects that Quirrell is the one who releases that Mountain Troll.
How he is suspicious about Nick Iron and lastly about Orion killing the Troll with his wand which he uses as a dagger.
He even shows the memories to Dumbledore.
----
By the time Snape went away, Dumbledore was thinking about what just happened.
He already knew about Quirrell. He is not an idiot who can't see a dark lord lurking in front of his own eyes.
In fact, it was his intent to let Quirrell go to the Albanian forest.
He knew that Quirrell would contract Voldemort there.
He knew that to fulfil the prophecy, he had to do that.
What he was worried more about was Nick Iron.
Having mental shields at this age is not normal. And Snape was sure that he was not a natural Occulumence.
A wizard can't even feel the memories of a natural Occulumence. Snape on the other hand was repelled back from Nick's mind.
He was curious about Orion too. After all, not all first-years can kill a Troll. Let alone him killing that troll without magic.
He saw the memories from Snape and had to say that having that kind of physical power at this age is abnormal for Orion's age.
But he did know why Orion was physically that strong. Snape did tell him that Orion used to be weak and thus ended up creating a potion unknowingly to improve his body.
No matter how many times he thinks about it, this sounds absurd in his mind but he knows that Snape is an accomplished wizard.
And if there is one thing which he will not lie about then it's Potion making.
Dumbledore after thinking about it a little, finally got a little curious and took out a big book about all the families of magical worlds.
Even the families outside of Britain were recorded on this century-old book.
Even the likes of Myrddin Emrys or Merlin are recorded here.
But there was no Emrys line anymore. No one knew what happened to the Emrys line.
He then one by one started to flip the names to find "Ambrosius or D" on any of the pages.
But there was no luck. There was no Ambrosius family in magical Britain or any other part of the world.
He just sighed.
----
Other professors were thinking the same thing.
McGonagall, Flitwick and others who knew about later on talked about it in there there free time.
And while the student who they were talking about was in the room of requirement.
"I guess that this is the best time and opportunity to figure it out whether I get the traits of animals and beasts whose power I absorb," Orion said.
Orion asked the room to bring out weights for him to lift.
Trying to find out whether he got a troll's power.
"That's 120 Kg, for an 11-year-old should be able to lift that much. There is no doubt about it. You now hold a little bit of that Troll's physical power," Merlin said with raised eyebrows.
"Cool," Orion just gave that reaction. He wasn't very happy about that physical strength.
What he wanted more was magical power which he got and that made him happy.
He is still nowhere near a normal first-year level but still, it was an improvement.
"So, I wanted to ask you this but never got the right time. Are you going after that Philosopher's Stone," Merlin asked sounding like he didn't care much either way but Orion knew better.
"I will go after it, yes. But not right now," Orion said with a smile.
The reason why Orion wanted to learn Runes so much faster was connected to the stones actually.
With his mere power, there is no way that he can actually get that stone any time soon.
He will need runes to break into the underground section of the castle.
Not to mention, the mirror of Erised is still not placed there. meaning that there is a high chance that the stone is not down there. At least not yet.
